"Religious Conservatives Lash Out at Kellogg’s Over 'Anti-Christian' Cereal"

If you can explain how we get from pouring milk on a wheat based product to turning a cereal box in to ad space for political and sexual material whose message is essentially "bullying people for doing it up the *** and touching themselves and each other is wrong", you're welcome to...

(edit: and just so I'm clear, I'm not arguing against LGBT rights, only that a cereal box is a very strange place to raise the issue...)

And football, basketball, baseball, the Olympics and hockey have exactly what to do with pouring milk on a wheat based product?

Moreover, if you think all being gay is, is “doing it up the *** and touching themselves and each other” I think we know where the problem lies. And it’s not with being gay.

Yes.
My entire young adulthood I spent trying desperately to be normal.

I've got better evidence than your religious beliefs have. And I don't even have to know what your religious beliefs ate you know that.
Tom

Wow an atheist presenting personal testimony as evidence

That being gay is not a choice? Me. Why would I choose to be something that could get me harassed, bullied, beaten, killed? The sex isn't that great. I complain about it just like any other human male. Now, I want you to answer why I would choose to be gay if it weren't who I am. I will keep asking you until you answer.

Are you asking me to make direct personal comments that you are highly likely to find very offensive?

Pathetic? No.
Abomination and blight on humanity? Yes.
Jesus weeps at their antics and hate, and twisting of his message.

I’m still going with pathetic. But then again, you Americans give way too much time and energy to listening to “soccer mum types.” Over here we just ridicule them, perhaps throw them a bone to stop their whinging and move on with life.

True. I knew 1776 was going to be a bad year. :D

The world I grew up in was a very privileged one.

White, male, upper middle class, Christian, suburban, in Very Good schools.

That's where I discovered drugs! Guys like me could afford extreme drugs, and our parents were able to hire the kind of lawyers who enabled us. Seriously, the best coke came from guys richer than me.

Maybe we need to end the white Christian suburbanite lifestyle.
Tom

I actually think taking drugs is a personal choice,, but I do come down heavily on pushers and no not all dealers are pushers

And how does that make gay gang rape acceptable,, or are you just blame shifting
It doesn't. You missed my immediate next post. And what were you trying to do? You made quite clear that at least part of your antipathy towards gays is because of that one incident with a 14 year old boy. Yet 14 year old girls also get raped, all over the world, and I've even heard tell that sometimes that is by straight men. So why don't you have the same antipathy towards them? You are tarring all gays with a brush you refuse to use for any heterosexuals, and that's blatantly unfair.

So you would vilify all gays because of an isolated incident? Let's try that idea with those criminal blacks, those drug-running Hispanics, let's label all members of a demographic because of the actions of one or a few.

How is saying it's seen as a sin in my religion vilification of all Gays?

One incident? What makes you think that

Are you not suggesting that this is what the "gay lifestyle" entails?
