"Religious Conservatives Lash Out at Kellogg’s Over 'Anti-Christian' Cereal"

No, it's promoting tolerance and attempting to eliminate bullying of anyone who is different. There's nothing about sex education.

It's a box of cereal. You drown it in milk and sprinkle a spoon of some sugar on it. Maybe, if you're lucky, you get a free toy, or do a cross word on the back.

Where does the "promoting tolerance and attempting to eliminate bullying" part come in to it? The Shreddies did not decide Wheatabix was gay and should be beat up whilst I wasn't looking...

Oh so nobody is allowed to disagree with your lifestyle, how very accepting of you

A "lifestyle" (Gods, I hate that word) that does harm to no one... what gives you the right to approve or disapprove? Who are you?

Explain "lifestyle choice". I want know if I'm missing out on something. My "lifestyle choice" seems to be a lot like any other couple or family in my neighborhood.

Well unless you live in a totally gay area I think you'll find a big difference

Any evidence it's not?

That being gay is not a choice? Me. Why would I choose to be something that could get me harassed, bullied, beaten, killed? The sex isn't that great. I complain about it just like any other human male. Now, I want you to answer why I would choose to be gay if it weren't who I am. I will keep asking you until you answer.

Tell me the difference, I'm sure I'm missing something. Why am I different than any other neighbor.

I'm waiting.

Umm... you never stared at a box of cereal when you were a kid? Do you know why they put advertisements and endorsements on cereal boxes? Because kids stare at them, they learn from them. Did I really have to just explain that to you?

Well having pull a 14 year old boy out off a Gay gang rape in becketts Park Northampton I beg to differ

So you would vilify all gays because of an isolated incident? Let's try that idea with those criminal blacks, those drug-running Hispanics, let's label all members of a demographic because of the actions of one or a few.

You don't know me very well, certainly not well enough to judge my lifestyle.

I grew up in a family where adults spent most of their free time and resources raising children. That was the model I knew.
I didn't have kids. So I put the bulk of my free time and resources into volunteer work and charity. From "adopting" a little girl in Haiti, to AIDS hospice, to the local art co-op, to the NAACP, you name it.
Once I came out of the closet and got my act together I found a compatible partner and got married. We've been married for about 25 years now.

I'm now at a stage of life where caring for elderly relatives uses up the bulk of my free time.

What, exactly, is it about my lifestyle that you disagree with?
Tom
@Darkforbid ,
Tell me what's wrong with my gay lifestyle.
You never said.

If you can explain how we get from pouring milk on a wheat based product to turning a cereal box in to ad space for political and sexual material whose message is essentially "bullying people for doing it up the *** and touching themselves and each other is wrong", you're welcome to...

(edit: and just so I'm clear, I'm not arguing against LGBT rights, only that a cereal box is a very strange place to raise the issue...)

So you think it's good premonition of lifestyles with higher drug use is good?
The world I grew up in was a very privileged one.

White, male, upper middle class, Christian, suburban, in Very Good schools.

That's where I discovered drugs! Guys like me could afford extreme drugs, and our parents were able to hire the kind of lawyers who enabled us. Seriously, the best coke came from guys richer than me.

Maybe we need to end the white Christian suburbanite lifestyle.
