So, I figured I should make a set of basic land cards. These are used to accumulate mana in the game, with various types of mana required to play cards. Anywhoos, there are 5 lands traditionally, with the producing mana as follows;
Plains - White Mana
Island - Blue Mana
Swamps - Black Mana
Mountains - Red Mana
Forests - Green Mana
I decided for an RF game, they needed to be more RF specific, and created them based on some of the different forums available. So, here are the RF basic land cards...

Pshaw, no bad cards, just bad uses and strategies for cards.
Your son might be right, im not really sure. I play Shadowera and Fantasy Rivals and they are both quite different to Magic, so im flying a little blind.
You'll probably find he's comparing your card to official cards. Quite possible that ALL my cards are underpowered. 'Cept maybe Quagmires.
I've also only put a single ability on each card. Official cards commonly have multiple, but I wanted room for flavour quotes.
Final point...I'll need to balance the deck once I've made a lot of cards. Intetesting deck has a variety of defensive and offensive cards, and high and low cost cards in mana. Allows different strategies.
Actuslly spent the most time on your card and Thruves, as well as the land cards, so far.

It's been bought my attention by my attentive Quality Assurance department that I accidentally put a land power on a creature (on Dantech's card).

I haven't played MtG in a good while, but your card seems to be strong if expensive. It is vulnerable to certain effects, but then again very few cards lack a weakness of some kind.
Magic the Gathering establishes very specific meanings to blue, red, white, black and green cards. Many cards are not of any of those five colors, but most are of exactly one of them.
I take it that blue has another specific meaning for you?

Is it fair to say ALL my cards are expensive? I suspect mana cost is a little overinflated.
To my mind savagewinds looks good in the attack, but of limited blocking ability.
That is probably accurate, Lewis. If nothing else, a deck based on your cards as shown so far would take a while to take off.
Of course, by its very nature MtG is difficult to predict. A couple of cards making mana acquisition faster could change the situation entirely.
Maybe a "Frubal" card with some sort of mana-enhancing power - an Instant or Interrupt, I assume, or even an Artifact?
