Magic the Gathering establishes very specific meanings to blue, red, white, black and green cards. Many cards are not of any of those five colors, but most are of exactly one of them.

I take it that blue has another specific meaning for you?

I guess you missed my "power". I point out obvious things!

If I was a proper Jehovah's Witness it would be a sin to play magic, even though it's not real magic. I understand the game of Magic uses more brain power than most games. It is good to exercise your brain.

It is very much a strategical challenge. On the gaming spectrum it is very far removed from games such as chess and Go that have very rigid rules. That is why it can be so challenging and have such impressive reversals.

Hi all,

Not sure if I'll get a chance to do any more cards over the next 24 hours.
I post a little from work, but can't exactly sit there doing art work on cards...lol
And home life is busy at the moment with little girls birthday parties (yesterday) and basketball (tonight).

Anywhoos, I'll get to them soon. Keen to get some Planeswalkers done as well.

The strategic depth of MTG is quite staggering, and there are ton of different ways to win. One of my decks, when it finally gets going, floods the field with creature tokens, a large number of them with flying, and once that deck gets going I can easily overwhelm opponents unless they can quickly kill off artifacts and get rid of my mana. I have another deck that revolves around Arcbound creatures who come into play with +/+ counters, and cards that double and up to quadruple counters whenever they are placed or moved around. This deck I want my creatures to die because the survivors become increasingly more powerful, and the dead are usually not dead for long. I've been trying to build a deck that wins by forcing my opponents to plow through their own deck, forcing them to take up to half of it and discard it, and winning by making them run out of cards first. The creature beat-um-up decks are the most common, but I have also seen a deck that increases the players health so high (I've seen it get to over 100) that all an opponent can do is slowly chip away at it unless there the opponent has several ways to deal heavy damage all at once. I would imagine there is literally over a hundred different strategies you can potentially employ.

Hmmm...welp, your avatar didn't work too well. So I just tried to work out what vibe I thought the card should have, and took a stab in the dark.
Hope ya like it!

No probs. I've been toying with the idea of a foil inserts card. You game to be a guinea pig?

I gave it a crack. But I think I like the original one better than the special edition. Maybe there's just too many colours in the picture I chose for the foil insert to show up well....

Okay, so for any unfamiliar, there are counter cards in the game that let you keep track of things like poison.
We only have one card at the moment that HAS a poison ability, so I got a little loose with the poison counter card.

I think it's the difference between the pictures bleeding into a watermark or not. Personal taste, I think.

Either one is brilliant. LOVE!!
