If you didn't really want to talk about history and just wanted to make another mindless "let's trash Russia" thread without any basis in fact, then you should have said so at the beginning. Procurators and the police investigate conspiracies. There is nobody who tells them: "you can't investigate that, you are a conspiracy theorist".

What makes conspiracy theories false? Nothing does.
Considering that a Sicilian politician, in the nineties (there are still the videos on YT) used to call defamers and conspiracy theorists those who used to speak of the inextricable link between Sicilian politics and mafia.
It turns out that the magistrates who were investigating all that, were murdered.
And the Sicilian politician in question went to jail for corruption.

So...I am very suspicious towards whoever calls anyone conspiracy theorists.
