1. Prophet Muhammad cannot write as well

2.The science of modern cosmology, observational and theoretical, clearly indicates that, at one point in time, the whole universe was nothing but a cloud of 'smoke' (i.e. an opaque highly dense and hot gaseous composition). This is one of the undisputed principles of standard modern cosmology. Scientists now can observe new stars forming out of the remnants of that 'smoke'. The illuminating stars we see at night were, just as was the whole universe, in that 'smoke' material. God said in the Quran:

bullet2.gif

Then He turned to the heavens when it was smoke...

[Noble Quran 41:11]

Because the earth and the heavens above (the sun, moon, stars, planets, galaxies, etc.) have been formed from this same 'smoke' we conclude that the earth and the heavens were one connected entity. Then out of this homogeneous 'smoke', they formed and separated from each other. God said in the Quran:

bullet2.gif

Have not those who disbelieved known that the heavens and the earth were one connected entity, then We separated them?..
[Noble Quran 21:30]

Professor Alfred Kroner is one of the world's well-known geologists. He is a Professor of the Department of Geosciences, University of Mainz, Mainz, Germany. He said, "Thinking where Muhammad came from .. I think it is almost impossible that he could have known about things like the common origin of the universe, because scientists have only found out within the last few years with very complicated and advance technological methods that this is the case." (From 'This is the Truth' [video]). Also he said, "Somebody who did not know something about nuclear physics fourteen hundred years ago could not, I think, be in a position to find out from his own mind, for instance, that the earth and the heavens had the same origin."

Have you asked Prof. Kroener what he thinks about that black stone in the arabic desert?

You know which one. The one that causes so many deaths when people go there to pray to it all at once.

By the way, I do not see any note on the Koran that explains how we and the gorillas have a common ancestor. Probably, that is because I do not master arabic so well ;)

For the Muslim there is no need for separation between religion and science. It is understood from the Quran, revealed over 1,400 years ago, that there is both; "Creation" and "Evolution." And in both instances, it is only Allah who is "Able to do all things." In fact, it was the Muslim scientists, more than 1,000 years ago, who set the stage for the advancement of learning, technology and disciplines in science that we know today.

Allah has explained how He created everything in the universe and brought all life out of water. He created humans from earth (not monkeys) and there is no need to attempt fabrications of "links" to the animal world in Islam.

The Christian Bible says that Adam & Eve were both created here on Earth, less than 10,000 years ago. The Quran says that Adam & Eve were created in Heaven, and NOT on Earth. When they disobeyed God, He expelled them from Heaven, down to Earth.

Muslims believe that souls are assigned to humans 40 days after the human inception. The Quran says that angels retrieve human souls on two occasions. One occasion is when humans die. The other occasion is every time humans fall asleep. When humans wakeup, the angels release those souls back to them:

bullet2.gif

It is Allah that takes the souls (of men) at death; and those that did not die, during their sleep: those on whom He has passed the decree of death, He keeps back, but the rest He sends (to their bodies) for a term appointed. Verily in this are Signs for those who reflect.

[Noble Quran 39:42]

bullet2.gif

And Allah has Created every animal from water; of them are some creeping on their bellies; some walk on two legs; and some on four. Allah Creates what He wills: for sure Allah has Power over all things.

[Noble Quran 24:45]

The Quran has set a precedent 14 centuries before modern science, explaining in simple and direct terms about his "creation" of animals and their various functions and then assures us it is He who has the Power over everything. This statement includes the fact Allah can if He Wills, reshape and alter his creation as He Chooses. There is clear evidence within many species of alteration and changes within the species. However, there is no concrete evidence to support a cross over in development from one type to another, such as reptiles turning into birds or alligators turning into cows. The statements made in Quran are quite clear when Allah tells us of having brought forth other life forms and then destroying or replacing them with others. This again, does not imply evolution in the sense of one type becoming or changing into another.

Allah tells us He is Al-Bari, (The Shaper or Evolver) but once again, this does not mean He has a need to bring about each individual life form all from one kind. Actually, while reading the Quran you learn He has brought many types and shapes and sizes as He Wills. Changes within species occur even as quickly as one or two seasons, not even taking a whole year, much less millions as was supposed by Darwin.

Speaking of Charles Darwin, he was only an armature naturalist and had only observed the finches (birds) on the Galapagos Islands for the first time in the mid 1850s. He noticed that on each island the birds had different shaped beaks according to the type of food available on their particular island. For this reason, he assumed, the birds had progressed over millions of years and only the hardiest of the species had survived the climate and vegetation changes. However, this is totally inaccurate and was dismissed as a mere humor in a TV series on the educational channel in October of 1998. According to the scientists’ discoveries in that very same year, the effects of the weather phenomenon known as El Nino, the climate on these same exact islands had drastically changed in a single year within a number of months. And to their surprise, the eggs of the finches on each island hatched open producing birds with beaks already altered to accommodate the changes of their environment.

The commentator even said this shoots Darwin's theory completely down and he laughed.

There is no DNA research pointing to a connection between apes and humans as was supposed by the scientists and those who had financed them over the years. In fact, the barnyard pig is closer to humans in many aspects, than a monkey or a gorilla. Consider the fact, doctors use the skin from pigs to replace needed tissue on burn victims and the famous movie actor, John Wayne had a pig's heart valve installed in his own heart in a 1977 operation to save his life. It worked, too - until his smoking caused him to die of cancer.

The rational approach to the whole subject is rather simple. Just as He is able to Create the universe and bring forth life, it is simple also for Him to produce as many different types of forms of life as He Wills. No problem for Him, after all - He is the Creator and He is the Shaper. And most important, He can change anything as He Wills - even today.

Evolutionary biology has been orthodox science for more than a century. Longer than theBig Bang, dark energy, or whatever.

Do you think that the scientific method is effective when applied to cosmology but it is not when applied to biology?

But if you are right, then Allah must have a certain obsession for apes, by making the pinnacle of His creation looking like one (actually, being one).

What is so special about apes, in your opinion?

In the field of science, it is very important to produce "proof". When you make a claim, and if you want others to believe it, then you have to show some proof. For example, if you introduce yourself to someone and say, "My name is Omar" and then this person says, "I do not believe that your name is Omar," then in that case you would have to have some proof that your name really is Omar. What could your proof be? An ID card could be a proof, or a birth certificate, or passport, or maybe your school report card, among other things. If you show one of these to that person, he will not object .

Now let us give a scientific example. There was a scientist called Newton who lived in the last century who claimed that there is something called the "gravity" on earth. He replied to those who asked him how he knew this, "When an apple falls off a tree, it falls on the ground. It doesn't stay in the air". That meant that there is a force pulling the apple to the ground and he called it "gravity".

Therefore, evolutionists have to show some proof to make their theories believable. For example, the theory of evolution states that the ancestors of humans are the apes. Then we should ask them: Where did you get this idea and where is your proof?

If the ancestors of humans are apes, we should find the fossils of creatures that are half human and half ape as confirmation. However, such a fossil has not been discovered until today. We have only found the fossils of humans or apes. This means that Evolutionists have absolutely no proof that apes are the ancestors of humans.

FYI: One of the oldest fossils found to date is that of the Turkana Boy, which is about 1.6 million years old. When the fossil was closely examined it was discovered that it belonged to a human about 12 years old, and that he would have been 1.80 m (5'90") tall if he had reached adulthood. This fossil alone, with its exact resemblance to human skeletons of today, was enough to destroy the belief that humans originated from apes.

We do not have fossils that are half human and half ape because we are apes. Great apes, to be precise.

I mean, you do not really need to have all that evidence to see how evolution is true. All you have to do is go to a zoo, in the section of the chimps, and you will see evolution staring you in the eyes (probably to get a banana).

For sure, we look much closer to a chimp than to a spider. Why is that? Why did Allah/God/whatever made us so similar to them? Would you have done the same for the main reason you created the Universe for?

Imagine if God created us like a spider? Wouldn't that be weird? We would have 8 legs and eat insects (Yuuuck 0.0). Especially if He created us like tarantula.
(Although... Spiderman looks kinda cool but that's out of our context here XD)

Why did God created us similar to primate?

The answer is because God knows the best! He gave us 2 hands and 2 legs so that we would do our daily activities easily.

Imagine if we had tentacles, instead of regular hand with five fingers. Life would be quite hard for us. We can't even write or even type.

Everything is created for a reason after all :)

No, humor is not allowed in Islam. That is a waste of time which could be used to pray to Allah.

What is wrong with a spider (Don't reply yourself, ask a spider). How fast it can move! If their legs were as long as ours, we would have moved with the speed of a Cheetah. Insects too are food. Do the Arabs not eat locusts? And what is wrong with Tarantula. If we could bite an enemy to death, we would not have to use armaments. With four hands we could have done twice as much work. Where two people are required now, just one would have sufficed. Tentacles! Why did God give it only to the octopus. we could have attended our work sitting at one place without the need to move. Two hands and two legs, though we are used to this form (and that is why you sing its praises), do not have much to commend. :) :)

Why not three hands? Why myopia in over 50% of eyeballs? Why a urethra that travels through the prostate instead of around it? Why external testicles?

Ever hear of the argument from poor design? If God is the super greatest, and he designed us, why did he do such a terrible job?

So that humans would be thankful of what they have, 2 hands, 2 legs, 1 head, etc. Thank God, God created us as a human being

I am quite sorry to tell you that your argument isn't true. Islam does permit jokes and humor. Even our prophet did.

I though it would be useful to draw on the the advice and actions of our beloved Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him) and look at how he led a balanced life with humour.

A goodly balanced life:
A narration which is apt in reflecting balance in our lives of happiness, is that of Abu Bakr As-Sideeq (May Allah be pleased with him) who met his friend Handhala in the street. Handhala confessed to Abu Bakr that he felt like a hypocrite and explained that when he was with the Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him) he would remember Allah and the Hereafter; but when he would leave his companionship), he would have his wives, children, and business on his mind, and attend to these matters. Abu Bakr said that he did the same, and so the two companions rushed to the Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him) and spoke of their situation. The Prophet explained that if their state of mind remains the same in his presence and they are always busy in remembrance of Allah, the angels would be shaking their hands!

At this the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) parted some practical advice that some time should be devoted to your family and other affairs, and certain portions of time should be devoted to prayer and other forms of worship.

Smile and have fun!
Many of us have been taught that smiling is a prophetic sunnah as the Prophet himself was constantly seen smiling, and taught us that smiling in the face of our brother is charity. This is a fine example of conduct and his happy nature is reflected again when he (peace and blessings be upon him) raced with his wife ‘Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) and joked about when ‘Aishah won the first time and he (peace and blessings be upon him) won the next time they raced.

Yes, he was a Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) who prayed until his feet would swell yet we see in these examples how he was an all-around example for us of leading a life of balance. He would enjoy his friends and family, and having fun with them and even when asked about this by his Companions he replied that he would occasionally joke. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) explained that whilst he did amuse others, he would always say the truth (narrated by Imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal). This teaches us that we should not lie to have fun and we can relate funny stories, but only true ones and not those which backbite/humiliate others.

Islam came to guide people to the best of character by exerting self-control, so having fun does mean we’re not ‘gloomy’ and seen as ‘miserable’ like my friend at the beginning suggested however there are some protocols, guidelines and limits we should observe when having a sense of humour:

1) Don’t insult anyone by your jokes.
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) says what means: “O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one’s] faith. And whoever does not repent – then it is those who are the wrongdoers.” (Al-Hujurat 49, Verse 11) This verse reflects the importance of being mindful of what you say even whilst you have a banter and joke with others.

2) Don’t frighten anyone as a joke.
We’ve all played a trick on a friend or two at one point perhaps creeping up on them in the dark, however we should refrain from casting fear into peoples’ hearts. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “It is not lawful to any Muslim to frighten another Muslim.” (Ibn Hajar)

3) Don’t lie to make people laugh
Sometimes, in our attempts to humour others one can fall into the trap of shaytan by exaggerating or telling false tales however we should remember it is forbidden to lie in Islam. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed us to be truthful in making people laugh.

4) Don’t joke or laugh excessively
Unfortunately we are often culprit to this type of behaviour in a world which teaches us to ‘live in the moment’ however we can be so excessive in our laughter or joking that we lose sight of reality. I am not suggesting one should not have a laugh, but to avoid losing focus of the fact that this life is temporal and ultimate joy is in the Hereafter. Excessive laughter also hardens the heart and whilst it’s not forbidden to be happy, cheerful, or joyous and have a good time – remember your elation should be in moderation.

5) The best laugh is a big smile
Is a principle that can be derived from the Prophetic seerah. And as we have been taught in many ahadith that we should: ”Never disdain a good act even a small one, even if meeting a friend of yours with a smiling face” (Muslim) So next time your caught with a frowning face, embrace the sunnah and smile.

PS: Next time when you're trying to argue about something, please be more factual. Use Hadits and Quran verses :)

Have a jolly good day!

A) God has to ask Adam where he is - Genesis 2. God also asks (you can argue that God already knew, but maybe not) what is going on.
B) God has to use the forces of nature to create a path through the 'sea' (Exodus) (by the time you get to Deuteronomy, it is a whole lot more impressive as an event, but in Exodus, it is an 'east wind'). IOW - God can't just 'magically' make anything at all just happen.
C) God tells Abraham that 'God heard' that S'dom and Gamorrah are wicked evil places, so now God is going down there to take a personal look: God is not omnipotent nor omnipresent.

There are plenty of other examples, but basically, you don't 'have to' assume that the God of the Bible (or the Qu'ran) can know everything, be everywhere, and do anything instantly. We ASSUME that, but we have to do some fancy interpreting to manage it.

There a lot of other examples in the Bible where God is shown to be omnipotent such as in Joshua 10 when He makes the sun stand still, in 2 Kings 19 when He kills the Assyrians who were about to attack Jerusalem, in Mark 6 when Jesus feeds five thousand people with only five loafs of bread and two fish, in Matthew 9 Jesus heals people who are blind, mute, has a flow of blood, and He raises a girl from the dead just to name a few.

The Lost One
There a lot of other examples in the Bible where God is shown to be omnipotent such as in Joshua 10 when He makes the sun stand still
Which demonstrate that the author thoughts the sun orbits around the earth (geocentric model) instead of the other way around (heliocentric model, in which the earth orbits around sun).

And day and night don't actually have the sun moving across the Earth's sky. The earth is the one that actually moving, rotating on its axis, and we receive daylight, when the sunlight reach the earth surface that facing the sun.

In order for the sun to seemed to be stationary in our sky, the earth has to be the one to stop rotating. You can't stop the earth rotating and then restart its rotation later. That's not scientifically possible.

This show not only the bible is scientifically inaccurate, it show that God is not all-knowing, to not understand the earth's motion that dictate the sun's position in the sky.

Basically God is stupid.

umm - no. But whoever wrote those stories was ignorant.
The Hebrew Bible is not like the NT or the Quran. The NT and Quran were both written over a very short period of time by relatively few people. The Hebrew Bible (the Tanakh, or the OT) was written over the course of at LEAST four hundred years, by a great variety of people of different backgrounds and over a range of cultural development.
So from the Tanakh, you do NOT get a 'single' unified picture of what God is like. You get a whole bunch of different versions - sometimes God is shown as 'all-knowing' but just as often, he isn't. Sometime God is shown as very powerful, other times, powerful - but not ALL powerful.

Actually it is scientifically possible, at least in theory, but that's beside the point. What I'm trying to show is that God is omnipotent, He can do anything at all, even things which violate the laws of physics, nothing is impossible for Him. I'm not sure how you came to the conclusion that God is stupid based upon this information. This narrative does not mean that the Bible supports the geocentric model.
