Science IS religion

From what I have seen, somebody needs to do that. I blame all the confusion on Luther.
I blame the social acceptance of believing without having read the Bible. And the acceptance of just taking what is spoon fed to people from a pulpit. And we might as well go back and blame the fact that it used to be very few people could actually read the Bible when it was in Latin.

You're really missing out. Informing and educating Christians about what the Bible says is one of life's finest pleasures.
No need to read it.
In my old haunts on The History Channel discussion forums,
I was once "The Pope". I made up scripture on the spot.
No one every called me on it, so it must've been pretty cromulent.

Well, duh, people at the History Channel are all either aliens or tin foil hat wearing blokes who blame the aliens. Of course they can't be expected to know any better.

Aye, it was full of mindless jerks.
That's why so many of us from there found a welcoming home here.

There are probably a lot of reasons, but the bottom line is that many fundys do not know the Bible as well as they think and often those that claim to have just come up with another interpretation among the multitudes of them.

I admit that I am no Bible scholar, even having read the book.

Yeah. What happened with that? It was a pretty good idea at first. Even covered actual history and then quickly went off target with aliens and Bigfoot.

No one suspected when all that scripture was about engines?

I see dad does not understand how storms work.
[/quote] The ones in your head?

Ooh! He is digging that hole deeper and deeper.
Pretend to have some point, but be too cowardly to say it. Boring.

Yeah, even without a wave you cooked Noah. Where is the monstrous cavity from your "window"? Your claims make your myth worse and worsse.
A portal that can transport water across time and space opens and closes and you pretend some cavity should exist?
Last time I check there are no such windows.
Nor Noah nor an ark...etc. You were not there. If the windows stayed open man would not be here.
Yes, your multiple time incompetent God gave a design to someone that had no power tools.

Right.
Even accomplishing the job with wood would be a task that he probably could not accomplish. In fact if one looks at the man hours for the Ark museum, which was built with modern tools It makes Noah's work appear to be impossible. You need to prove that he could build that tub with such a meager work force.
You have no idea how many workers he had. Nor what tools. Nor how much metal was used...etc etc. How many man hours was it?
In other words "magic". You still have not answered the problems of Lions and Tigers and Bears (Oh my!).
If you see problems with those let us know.

They did have metal back then also you know. .

No. They had very soft metals like bronze.

A wooden boat-- bronze OR STEEL? Would sink within an hour of putting out to sea.

WHY?

Because there is no such thing as a one-piece wooden boat-- of the size of the ark.

Therefore? Long wooden planks make up the sides.

Planks flex. You cannot get around that FACT.

Flexing planks? LEAK-- YOU CANNOT GET AROUND THAT FACT.

I don't care if you pretend it is MAGIC SUPER-WOOD MADE OF GOD'S COTTON PANTIES: Wooden boats, made to the size of the ark? WILL SINK.

Take a hose. Now point it in the ocean. Waves will be created that is true. Now go ten miles out in the ocean with a paper boat. See if the waves from squirting that hose sink the little paper boat! Ha.

Here, you are showing your extreme ignorance of ordinary things.

TO GET ENOUGH WATER TO COVER THE PLANET IN ONLY 40 DAYS?

You need it to rain LIKE A WATERFALL-- LITERALLY LIKE BEING UNDER WATER--- ALL OVER THE PLANET, EVERYWHERE, AT ONCE.

That will make some GIANT WAVES, for sure. Like... Really Really HUGE.

Bigger waves than when God plops down in his Hot Tub Time Machine. I mean, Splashes Up Over The Mountain type waves.
