None of the Pauline-Christianity people of the 45000+ denominations including the JWs and the Latter Day Saints could quote from Jesus that he would come back physically as Jesus never claimed it, one gets to know from it, please. Right?
Jesus talked in parables so this was also in symbolic terms as he did explain it, please? Right?

Jesus' "Second Coming", since he died naturally (neither died on the Cross nor resurrected from the dead, I understand) is not to be in the physical and material form as those who die never return to this world in physical and material form, please. Right?

Instead of that somebody born of a father and mother was to come in Jesus' character and spiritual status to clear Jesus from all the accusations that have been made against Jesus by the Hellenist-Paul, his associates and the Pauline-Church with reasonable arguments, it transpires, please. Right?

And Jesus' himself explained it, didn't he please. Right?

John the Baptist was asked by a delegation of priests (present tense) "Art thou Elias", he replied "I am not":

John 1:21 "Then who are you?" they inquired. "Are you Elijah?" He said, "I am not." "Are you the Prophet?" He answered, "No."

Matthew 11:14 -15:
14And if you are willing to accept it, he is the Elijah who was to come. 15He who has ears, let him hear.…

Didn't Jesus declare that John-the-Baptist is in spirit/character/deeds is Elias/Elijah, please? Right?

According to the Bible Christ will personally and very physically return to the earth.
A few references:

· I know that my Redeemer shall stand at the latter day upon the earth, Job 19:25.

· Unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue swear, Isa. 45:23

· The Son of Man came with the clouds of heaven, Dan. 7:13 (Matt. 26:64; Luke 21:25–28).

· They shall look upon me whom they have pierced, Zech. 12:10.

· One shall say, What are these wounds in thine hands, Zech. 13:6

· Who may abide the day of his coming? for he is like a refiner’s fire, Mal. 3:2

I have a hope of seeing Jesus in heaven when I die. Some Christians believe in a form of soul sleep when they die. Basically like the soul is asleep until Jesus comes back. I do not personally hold to the belief in soul sleep.

With soul sleep kinda but it's not being out of existence then coming back to existence. More like when your asleep you are unaware of what's going on. Then again after looking at an article on it suggesting soul sleep is like being out of existence and then later into existence I'm not sure completely what the opinion is by people who hold the belief

My belief is that the soul of the Christian is alive and is with Christ when the person dies. The body is dead until Jesus comes back and reunites the soul with the body but the body is renewed so no more aches and pains . Hope I'm helping answer your questions. Ask anything else you want to :)

I have no idea what others think it means, but I can tell you what it means to me. I go back to John 13,14,15 round about where he speaks of the spirit of truth coming to exist in them/us. He says he'll not leave them as orphans and goes on to explain about the spirit of truth. It's an honest spirit and one that doesn't negate truth. That's him in us and us in them (God). When that happens on earth in everyone - that's the manifestation of the kingdom, a truthful and honest spirit being the second coming ... we learn as we go and holding on to that spirit helps ground us and acts as a foundation.

I suppose one could say Jesus' return is about his Glory Time as illustrated at Matthew 25:31-34.
Jesus will come as King of God's kingdom government - Daniel 2:44-45.
Jesus will take the action to rid the world of wickedness - Isaiah 11:3-4; Revelation 19:14-15

Sleep, almost like we do at night, without the wakeup in the morning I presume. A new creation implies new, not a modified existence. The modified existence happens while living after the change of mind and way of life ... from dishonest to honest from deceit to truth. It's not an easy change, but ir is beneficial.

I think vision of Jesus is not the same as claiming Jesus have returned.
