The USA is demonizing and provoking China to attack Taiwan, just as it demonized and provoked Russia to attack Ukraine. Same old same old.

I have the long term memory. And I do remember what Poroshenko, Nuland, Soros, Obama said about Ukraine between 2014 and 2015.
It was an escalation that led to a regime change: they wanted a pro-USA government in Kiev so they could start fueling the anti-Putin propaganda.

Has there ever been and anti-Putin narrative in Europe, throughout those years? No.
Putin has been to Europe several times, and if you recall correctly, PM Conte said this in 2018:
A very pro-Russia discourse because we needed to protect the commercial and cultural relations between Russia and EU.
