Most religious fanatics think like that.
Maybe I should clarify: to MY eyes, Allah as the personal God who gave the Qur'an is but another aspect of the Supreme Reality, which NO RELIGION has a monopoly on, not even Hindu religions. Shiva is another aspect, as is Vishnu, as well as Shakti. As is YHWH (for Judaism) and Jehovah (for Christianity).
ah but it was the Angel Gabriel that revealed the quran...not Allah
but I understand fully what you ae saying....
In Islam, Allah is the ineffible, supreme reality
Indeed the statement that "there is no God but Allah"
is interpretted by the Sufi for example to mean:
"There is nothing but God" essentially
We see with Islam that has its roots in (amongst other things)
Persian ("Gnostic") strands...(Zoroastrianism etc) that there is an
empahsis on the transcendant, ineffible form of God
this is the ultimate reality found in most paths, that as you say is the property of no one group....
Islam, arguably asserts that this is the nature of God more so than Judaism and Christianity.....but for your average online Muslim, this manifests in proclaiming that Allah is best.....
Because God has no stick, yet he has every single stick that has ever been made.
All life is just a progression toward, and then a recession from, one phrase
I love you.
