Amazingly, getting shot tends to make people of all generations upset. It's hardly limited to millenials.Or why this particular generation is so mentally challenged and are incapable of controlling their emotions.
Bullying, social media overload???
So that's your sollution? Everyone should leave cities?I stay away from crowds. Something happens to people when they are crowded into any situation. Left the big cities long ago.
Ridiculous well poisoning attempt about Tide Pods in 3... 2...Unquantifiable generalizations are lazy and unhelpful. I think you are making these statements based on anecdotes and prejudice, unless you have a data set to back it up?
Some people are messed up, I acknowledge that. My point is that it is not a generational issue. As much as baby boomers love to pat themselves on the back based on their best examples while taking a crap on an entire generation (that they raised) based on the worst examples, it simply isn't accurate.Ridiculous well poisoning attempt about Tide Pods in 3... 2...
In the context of school shootings, you're entirely correct.
But anti-gun types will broaden it to include all mass
shootings, which are indeed far more numerous...............
Except that this sort of thing isn't exclusive to cities.I stay away from crowds. Something happens to people when they are crowded into any situation. Left the big cities long ago.
I go for metal detectors and security at the doorways. It's about time they're installed.
I don't think so. I've never seen such a screwed up generation ever that collectively acts the way they do. My generation is pretty screwed up as well, but wow ! Millennials so far are taking the cake.
Mind you I'm referring to the collective generation. Not individuals as there are always going to be a few who are an exception.
No, @Father Heathen and @Sunstone, it is not anywhere close to "almost daily". And, unfortunately, it's this type of hyperbole that injects so much emotionalism into these horrific incidents that makes having a rational conversation about the causes and solutions that much harder...just sayin'.
So that's your sollution? Everyone should leave cities?
Nope. People are attracted to different things. I wanted peace, quiet, lack of fear. Others make good money in the "daily grind". Life is what you make it.So that's your sollution? Everyone should leave cities?
Well that's helpful.Nope. People are attracted to different things. I wanted peace, quiet, lack of fear. Others make good money in the "daily grind". Life is what you make it.
Most people leave the cities for a "vacate" shun. I enjoy living in a vacation.
So aren't there those that paint all firearm owners in basically the same way. So they are trying to paint an entire group of people based on the acts of a few. Shame on them. This is a pretty insensitive and inaccurate comment. Trying to paint an entire generation of people based on the acts of a few? Shame on you.
Of course it's not accurate. But anything to avoide responsibility. Some people are messed up, I acknowledge that. My point is that it is not a generational issue. As much as baby boomers love to pat themselves on the back based on their best examples while taking a crap on an entire generation (that they raised) based on the worst examples, it simply isn't accurate.
Actually I agree with you.Yeah but your lot brung 'em up.
Previous generations tend to forget that fact.

No one's trying to paint all firearm owners the same way.So aren't there those that paint all firearm owners in basically the same way. So they are trying to paint an entire group of people based on the acts of a few. Shame on them.
Heck, I'm a gun owner and I agree with just about all these suggestions as necessary good ideas, and don't feel the least painted.Who are 'they'?
Better and tighter controls over guns paint nothing about 'all firearm owners' at all.
Better school security isn't painting anybody.
Compulsory gun insurance, gun safes, home inspections, regular reviews, criminal record review, mental disability controls, etc with an outright ban on fast-fire semi-autos doesn't paint anybody.
