Should Christians Be Keeping the Sabbath?

JM2C

CHRISTIAN
NO ONE has to keep the Sabbath.

Any one calling themselves a Jew and rejects Jesus is CUT OFF from God.

The commands to observe special days are NO MORE.

The commands for circumcision of the flesh are NO MORE.

The commands for various external washings are no more.

The commands for animal sacrifices are no more.
And yet can't tell the diff bet Judaism and Christianity

See? I can also just write things, it doesn't make them true...

I speak God's Truth.

Nope, actually, you speak a couple of guys' accounts about a Jew called Jesus who under no circumstances practiced what you are preaching. Those guys, by the way, most likely never even met Jesus.

If you want Jesus to reveal himself to you, then you have to get his teachings and obey them, and then you will know.

Otherwise, you are only giving your worthless opinions.

See John 14:21, and John 7:17.

Jesus is of no concern to to me. To you however, he is. For that reason, I suggest you take your own advice. You are preaching things he never condoned.

Why thank you, thank you very much! Very appreciated! I guess everyone who isn't your kind of Christian has a worthless opinion.

See John 14:21, and John 7:17.

Again, I suggest you study up on your own scripture.

Hint Hint: "Keep the commands", "have the commands and keep them".

You are speaking nonsense. You said Jesus is of no concern to you, but then give your worthless opinion by telling me what Jesus condoned.

Again, you are not speaking from experience and knowledge, you are merely giving worthless opinions. You do not know Jesus so you should not be telling anyone about him

Jesus says those who know him are those who obey him.

Why does it offend you if I stand up for God's Truth and for myself against your false opinions?

Why is it that some self-proclaimed "Christians" say the rudest and most judgmental things? Why is it that they claim to follow Jesus and yet ignore what he said about not judging others? Why is it that they somehow feel they can be "God's counselor" and know whom exactly will be "saved"? And why is it that they feel they'll convert others to their faith while being so sarcastic, rude, and so judgmental?

Him being of no concern to me doesn't equate me having no knowledge of him?

Let's put it this way. If Jesus was alive today, he'd be more at ease spending a Saturday with me, than he would with you. Not that I care, really...

Jesus says those who know him are those who obey him.
Oh! Jesus says! Well, I'm sold!

Why does it offend you if I stand up for God's Truth and for myself against your false opinions?
I'm offended? You're the one on the defensive, calling my opinions worthless, and that I speak nonsense.

You speak nonsense.
Can I nominate this guy as the best debater on this website?

You have hardened yourself against God and will not listen and be thankful when someone explains the truth to you.

You are the rude and judgmental person, for you think your blood relations mean something and you think you can put Jesus down.

I told you that you should not speak for Jesus because you put Jesus down. God says those who obey Jesus are the ones who know Him. How is it that you who do not obey Jesus can tell me about Jesus?

That is right.

1 John 2:4
Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person.

Let's put it this way. If Jesus was alive today, he'd be more at ease spending a Saturday with me, than he would with you. Not that I care, really...

Jesus is alive.

Oh! Jesus says! Well, I'm sold!

Don't speak for him then. That is all I am saying. You cannot speak for him because you do NOT know him

I'm offended? You're the one on the defensive, calling my opinions worthless, and that I speak nonsense.
You are exactly AS YOU FIRST accused me. You are the rude one. You put down Jesus with your worthless opinions. Get some knowledge and experience, then tell me about Jesus.

Gee, I wonder how many Yes will convert to his/her brand of "Christianity" with comments like the above?

Many are called few are chosen.

How much do you want God's Truth? Do you want it with all your heart?

I will show anyone how to search for God with all your heart, and then find Him.

Quite an assumption, and exactly how can you tell if I or anyone else doesn't have "God's Truth" and God in their heart?

The reality is that you can't because that would involve having an omniscient ability to know exactly what's in one's heart.

Actually you do not know that as you really don't know me well enough to draw such a conclusion. And it's rather obvious you don't take Jesus' word seriously at all because you are constantly judging others when Jesus said not to judge others.

Maybe some day instead of just believing about Jesus that you actually might believe in Jesus and act accordingly.

You do not obey Jesus, so you do not know Jesus and should not try to tell others about him. You have no idea what Jesus meant.

The one you are trying to teach us all about, he says you are a liar if you say you know him but do not obey him. He says he reveals himself to those who get his teachings and obey them

1 John 2:4
Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person.

John 14:21 The person who has my commandments and obeys them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will reveal myself to him."

It's absolutely hypocritical for you to tell anyone they do not obey Jesus when it is absolutely clear that you don't.

You are lying about me, for it is what Satan has given those to defend his false teachings.

YOU think you can put down Jesus and tell people what Jesus means.

I explained to you, from the words of Jesus---that those who say they know him but do not obey him are liars.

I explained to you, from the words of Jesus---that if you want experience and knowledge about Jesus, then you have to get his teachings and obey them.

You have not done that, so you are merely doing Satan's job of putting Jesus down with your worthless opinions.
