I believe you can't substantiate that statement and I believe it is the wrong way.

I don't believe it makes any difference. Why do you think so?

I could go on and on, showing the difference between Jesus and His Father. Even the original trinitarian doctrine (Athanasian Creed) doesn't teach that the Father and Jesus are literally the same!

But here's another Scripture: at John 8:17-18, regarding the Mosaic Law requiring two witnesses, Jesus made it clear that He and His Father, were two separate people. If they were the same as you claim, the two-witness rule could not apply.

No, they were one in being unified, as were His original disciples. Compare Acts of the Apostles 9:1-5....(was Jesus, His disciples? Or did they just represent Him?)

I believe you could but I doubt that there would be much veracity to it.

I believe Jesus was using people's perceptions not making a claim for two existences.

I believe the Athanasian creed is false doctrine and it was turned down at the Council of Nicea. The Nicene creed says that they are one substance. I don't believe that goes far enough since they are one.

I believe I already explained about disciples. There is no doubt in my mind that Paul could have been literally persecuting Jesus in the disciples.

Celebrate anything you want. But Christians should not try to force everyone else to celebrate Christmas. Hell, the banks are closed, the mail doesn't run, everything is closed. And that is in the US, where we are supposed to have separation of church and state. Somehow Christians got Christmas to be a Federal holiday. Anyway, everyone knows Jesus was born on January 6th. And the true believers count 12 days from Dec 25 when pagans worship their fake trees to the true birthday of Jesus on Jan 6- the 12 days of Yuletide.

I do not believe the constitution says there must be a separation of church and state. The state can name a day as a holiday but it can't tell people when or if to celebrate Christmas.

I believe I do not know anyone who knows that. I know it is Dec 24. It is celebrated in my church on the 24th. The secular celebration tends to be on the 25th. Spanish speaking people tend to celebrate on Epiphany (Jan 6) the traditional day when the wise men arrived with gifts.

I believe Pagans celebrate the Winter Solstice which falls on Dec 21st. I never attended so I don't know if they do anything with trees or not.

Oh, I was referring to Christians who keep Dec 25 as pagans, but I apologize as that is insulting both to pagans and Christians. Celebration of Dec 25 was being observed a long time before it became Christian. It started off as a pagan holiday, I guess in addition to the Solstice.

The 12 days between Christmas and the Epiphany- Eastern Orthodox hold that Jesus was born on January 6, and they had to count 12 days from the pagan celebration of December 25. The famous 12 days of Christmas.
