I realize that and it's really interesting to me. LDS doctrine believes in the wars, wickedness, natural disasters, etc. but also in a number of very positive signs.

What kind of positive signs would you look for?

Oh...I did think of one! "Knowledge shall increase." Daniel 12:4

Depending on who you are, the Jews returning to Israel might be considered positive.

I gave my lesson today and it (combined with last week's) really turned out well.

Cool!

(And do we get to see the lesson plans? hint hint)

Well, it's late now, but I'll post some tomorrow.

To us, that's one of the major ones. Our tenth Article of Faith mentions that we believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes.

I could probably do that, if you're really interested and not just being nice. :)

Yes, I believe in the literal gathering as well (though not to the extreme that every Jew alive has to be there).

I could probably do that, if you're really interested and not just being nice. :)

It might be worth doing it in a separate thread though, or I'll have to moderate myself for being out of bounds in DIR Christianity.
