I just posted a "Goofus and Gallant" cartoon on another thread. I doubt anyone under 40 even knows what that is.

But the worst is, I've started springing gray eyebrows. Just one or two here and there, but can the mad scientist look be far off?

When I make references in class to movies, TV shows and music from just a few years ago (like, anything over five years is apparently ancient history) and no one has a clue what I'm talking about. When I do make reference to some truly ancient cultural things of that nature (Brady Bunch, Andy Griffith Show, etc.) most know of it because of the permanent re-runs on several select cable channels. But other things of cultural significance from when dinosaurs were young and I ruled the earth, not so much...
