Related to the problem with vertical category names on the front page. The screenshot included is from how the page looks when the window is just above 800 pixels wide. Go down to 800 pixels and the sidebar is hidden, making everything look fine again. Between 800 pixels and 1000 pixels there's currently an uncomfortable zone where the text looks distorted in one way or another. It would probably be best to set the site to hide the sidebar at 1000 pixels to avoid that happening to people.

What's the lastest on frubals?
Is there a way to make you profile conversations private?
And are we going to get the eros room back, and perhaps a more open Rainbow Room that isn't club members only so it hopefully actually gets used?

I did a poll on whether people want an LGBT subforum and a lot of people did. The staff never got back to me about it, but they made the Capitalist Only subforum right away.

The old place had The Rainbow Room for years. Way before we had the Capitalist subforum.

And we didn't create the Capitalist forum "right away", it took weeks and several people nagging us about it constantly.

Is there likely to be a return of the groups which gave us a fancy name color and private subsections?

Simply curious, not top priority :)

I'm noticing that the fonts used for default text are pixelating when you zoom in on the screen for easier reading by using ctrl+scroll on the keyboard. This works correctly on every website available, but here the fonts get pixelated and fuzzy, like they're bitmaps or something. Even harder to read than small-sized fonts.

It seems that it is with the default font, because members who choose other fonts for their texts don't exhibit the same problem; just to point in a direction to troubleshoot this.

Not really an issue or problem really, more a suggestion that I think would be a benefit...those little red notification tabs that pop up for alerts and media and such and tell us how many we have...would there be any way there could be one that could pop up over the button for "chat" that could tell us there are people in the chatroom before ever going there? If people could see that others are using it right on the main page it might draw more to go there. Don't know if that's possible, just thought it an idea.

I like that. It's pretty easy to do too, since the system already has the user count available. It just needs to be added to the popup too.

I wasn't able to replicate this on my screen. Can you provide a screenshot?

Minor thing and probably being worked on for the moment, but the Test thread in the Site Feedback section is showing on the New Posts list. Click on the thread and it results in an error, but you can still see the thread name and who posted in it.

Are we ever going to have the sections for each thread back on the front page? I think many of us like just to skim to find the ones we're interested in. As it is now, we have to read through the entire thing to find threads we're in.

I'm not sure I get this post. We can see the threads we're in from the Watched Threads list, right? I usually just use the New Posts page to find new threads I might be interested in.

In the old days, once you clicked on the New Posts, it would say in one of the columns from which section of the forum it was in. So a guy like me who is primarily interested in a particular blue DIR could just skim down and see if there were any more posts in that DIR without reading the entire thing. That column is no longer there.

Oh, right. It still shows that below the titles but yeah, it's a lot harder to see where the thread's been posted.
