You know this reminds me of the phrase, be careful what you wish for.I think people who are seriously brilliant are often mistaken for fools. I think that study was onto something.
I can imagine some might wish to be so smart, but I do agree, that being that smart often has a hefty price in other areas. Namely, finding people to connect with. It is said of many intellectual giants, that they had a tough time finding people to connect with, and of course always end the rest of their life sitting at Oxford, Harvard, or some place that brings a hint of comfort to them.
In best case scenarios they find someone to love, and can have a non-intellectual side to their life as well.
