When it comes to issues like this, I don't trust media reporting. Instead did a search on the scientific literature and found many references.Links? I have a bunch that say any memory difficulties are only while high.
Being distracted in general causes false memories. Multitasking reduces the overall quality for all tasks being performed, yet we are expected more-and-more to be multitaskers, which is just not healthy for us.
Spoken like a true know-nothing-know-it-all. For some strange reason you seem to think you know what it's like to be high, yet you have absolutely no information to base that off of.
I guess you never make mistakes when typing quickly on this site. Try to be respectful buddy.
You made an insulting association between stupidity and cannabis use. That is not a joke, it's a mean-spirited insult ... especially coming from someone who has no idea what being high is like. Don't assume that you can make fun of smokers anymore without reprocussion. The stigma is being lifted.

"Distracted by shiny things ..."Huh? You typed an incomplete sentence. I made a little joke of it. I don't see where you're coming from with that.
"Distracted by shiny things ..."
Fair enough. My mistake.Right...I don't get where you draw the association between a reflective object and getting high?
I get distracted by shiny things all the time!
Fair enough. My mistake.
That's not a reputable, scientific site. Some of those claims are true but some I doubt. And they're very, very minor compared to the proven negative affects of marijuana.
Look up Hemp milk.I drink it always. It has more nutritional value than all the cow milk you will ever drink.I don't personally enjoy cannabis products, but they do have many medicinal uses.
I think it should be totally legal, untaxed and unregulated. It's none of the government's business what plants people grow, trade or ingest!
So, today is International Worship a Plant Day.
Personally, I'm against the use and legalisation of Marijuana beyond regulated medical applications.
What are the thoughts of others?
That's still just one compared to many I have read saying memory problems while using weed are not as severe as claimed, and that after the high wears off memory function returns to normal. This study also clearly states they were looking at chronic users, which are not normal users, so the point is invalid anyways. Even too much water is potentially fatal. And then their is alcohol, which is very capable of wiping an entire evening from memory in even the occasional user...of course, however, when too much is drank. When it comes to issues like this, I don't trust media reporting. false memories cannabis - Google Scholar That reference shows very old studies so I limited the search to more recent papers and found this one:
