So what is everyone's thoughts on this documentary on evolution ?

It's rare to see someone on any website forum anymore mocking evolutionary theory. Yes, the video starts out with an unbelievable history of mans' origins, yet the masses worldwide are being taught this lie to the point that it's now accepted as fact.

I understand why atheists hold to this theory since its essential to their godless world view.

I understand why ignorant people hold to this theory because it's been taught to them throughout their school lives and present culture.

But, I don't understand how professing Christians and Catholics can hold to a theory that specifically undermines the foundational scriptures of their faith.

Hitler got one thing right: "If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.” Unfortunately, we live in a culture today of relativism, where not only (Biblical) objective truth is dismissed, but also imperical evidence. Evolution is the gateway to this new world view.
" ...understand why atheists..."

No, you do not. Educated Chridtians have no issue
with it.
And atheists are not intellectual frauds looking for an excuse. Shame on you for claiming that.

It is ignorant people who do not accept the theory as valid.
A quiz would soon show you understand less than nothing about the science..

You don't know how any christian can s cept evolution
for two reasons:

You don't know what they know

Your "faith" is not in the Bible, not in God, but in
yourself

Faith that you know more than any biologist, chemist,
geologist, physicist etc, on earth- none of them " know"
evolution is false. But you do. Right.

They know there is zero evidence that it's false.

Yet you know there is " imperical" (sic) evidence
showing it's false.

That's some faith you have in your personal greatness
and infallibility.

Suc foolishness is NOT the foundation of faith in God.
Not for anyone.

No problem but the whole thing of fish like creatures to lizard to mouse to mammal to monkey type creatures to finally us just seems so unbelievable.
Alternative explanations are much more ludicrous than evolution. And God can't be a very good designer, given the numbers of defects and anomalies that humans often have - like conjoined twins or those born with more than the usual two limbs, or all the other various anomalies. Mistakes due to nature however - much more plausible. Also, if one doubts the theory of evolution then one might be tempted with the young Earth and/or young human species nonsense, so one has to necessarily double down on being ignorant as to what science does tend to show us. Not the way to go if one professes to have an open mind and/or values learning. But OK if one simply accepts a religious text I suppose - and is marked for such. o_O

Me personally I laughed at some parts because it just seems so ludicrous.
Due to your religious programming?

Has it occurred to you that since you lack this education that you have no educated basis to reject what science concludes?

Do you not feel embarrassment to reject science in the 21st century due to negative religious influences? We learn about the topic of the video in the 7th grade.

So what is everyone's thoughts on this documentary on evolution ?

With regard to "intelligent life" ... both HERE and "UP THERE" ... did you ever really notice that the design form (even though "looks" seemingly vary) is exactly the same? In other words, we are (oddly) all bipedal - a head with a brain that sits on shoulders, a body with two arms and hands, and we all walk on two legs with feet. My question simply is ... is this a quiet normal "evolutionary" outcome? Or was this genetic manipulation on a "close enough" mammal design?

Or more specifically

We got stuck in the rut of bilateral symmetry and axial expression a long time ago unlike starfish. unfortunately only got four pods and a backbone before we ever crawled out of the sea. Others crawled out differently or stayed behind.

This change was WAY later than that. It's the final outcome that interests me.

What change are you referring to then?"
and between what and what?
The idea is, that either evolution is a "normal" occurring change in biological development that leads to an "intelligent design" (and if that's true why did just happen in primates), or, "someone" in the distant past made genetic changes to the living creatures that were the best proto-bideds in the development process.

Humans are primates. Physical and genetic similarities show that the modern human species, Homo sapiens, has a very close relationship to another group of primate species, the apes. Humans and the great apes (large apes) of Africa -- chimpanzees (including bonobos, or so-called “pygmy chimpanzees”) and gorillas -- share a common ancestor that lived between 8 and 6 million years ago. Humans first evolved in Africa, and much of human evolution occurred on that continent. The fossils of early humans who lived between 6 and 2 million years ago come entirely from Africa.

The idea simply revolves around the picture that all intelligent life, here and "up there" are bidedal beings. We all LOOK different, but we all have the same "structural build."

The basic answer from years ago is that this is a very incorrect understanding of evolution, Evolution is not striving for a goal but is a random walk.

We are all equally evolved and adapted to our environment. Sharks are better than us in their environment and chimpanzees know how to use tools and are better at surviving in their environment than we would be if deposited there..

There is no evidence of purpose, design, relative success or any other anthropomorphised idea that the religious use to pretend that we are a goal.

Except for the anomaly that we and what we call ET are all bipedal.

A recent halfway modification that allows us to run faster and make use of our front paws however the tradeoff is frequent and debilitating spinal problems
I'm only concerned with the basic design "picture." Why is it that intelligent life straight across the board - are bipeds?

What makes you think the only intelligent life on earth is bipedal?
I haven't seen any turtle scientists. LOL ...

This anomalous picture is based on what we have as far as information regarding ET (the rest of the "bipeds"). Anything that has shown up here in reports as far back as the 1800s were all bipeds of one sort or another.

This is all the information we have that I've seen, and you can pick through the pile for experiences where they saw / talked with beings. Some of these stories need to be broadened and clarified - but - depending on the dates, they're either dead, or, we'll never find them.
