Will we be able to hit a connective link to a conversation?

So the most dire transgression of this changeover is:

(1) Having to post in a sans-serif font - horrifying!
(2) The correct shade of green being absent from the color picker - unforgivable!

My academically-inclined hippie vibe has been ruined.
Yet I'm now able to quote and respond to your posts without having to change font and style when I break up the quote.

One feature that I've seen on other boards but didn't exist in the old format (but hoping it might be added to the new software) is the ability to increase the number of posts per page in a thread. 20 posts per page in a thread with hundreds of posts can lead to a lot of pages. I'd like to have the ability to set it even higher if possible, even to 100 or more posts per page.

I'm not sure what you're asking, Kenny.

Could you rephrase?
I remember you could hit an arrow and it would go to the previous link and you could follow the conversation all the way back to when you first answered. So if I needed to quote someones answer that they forgot, I could find it. LOL.. I hope that is clearer than mud.

It still does that.
I can seen up-arrow to the right of your moniker in the quoted post.
I knew about that'n cuz another forum I'm on uses this version of XenForo.
(But I'm not as familiar with it as the old RF version.)

I also got used to using an up-down arrow that would appear as I would hover the mouse to the lower right corner of the screen. It still does appear, but only the up arrow, not down.

I'm finding the whole new interface fiddly and difficult at times. That's not to say it's worse, but it IS taking some adjustment. (And certain aspects might be worse). I'll need time to figure it out.

Thanks Rev. Is that what you were looking for @Kenny ?

One thing I have noticed, at least from using only an android phone. I can't always tell what is a link.
If you're using the RF style UI, the links, unfortunately, appear the same as the other text. The only way you can recognize it's a link is to mouse over it. In the default style UI, the links appear in blue. I've opted to use this until the update is complete despite my aversion to the blue/orange theme, because of the link appearance as well as the quote headers being barely noticeable.

I just found that it is much easier to respond to a broken up post, or to break up the posts of others. The software automatically adds in the {quote}, {/quote}. Please note, one has to use square brackets, but that would have messed up my post.

There is no longer any need to add that notation.
