Some say god...

Thought this would be an interesting topic if it becomes one. Got the idea from the "what is god's image" thread.

Some say god is the "one" that underlines all things.
Some say god is the "one" that is all things
Some say god is the "one" who created all things
Some say god is the the movement of the physical universe
Some say god is the spark of the physical universe
Some say god is the spark of life (one's soul)
Some say there are more than one god that represents the individual energies of all things and events
Some say god is Word (the dictation or oral law given to people)
Some say god is sound (the underlining note or individual tones of the universe)
Some say god is the aura we see in other people whether in colors or just a presence
Some say god is the one behind synchronicities while others synchronicities themselves
Some say god is only alive through tradition
Some say god is a title of different Greek deities
Some say god is the consciousness of the universe
Some say god is the presence of love

Some say god...

Couple questions.

1. If you are atheist and don't believe god exists, which "god" are you referring to?

2. To those who believe there is a "one truth" of spirituality, how did you come to the particular god you believe in... (and if you're a "that's not me" crowd, that's okay. We forgive me. The questions and context are the same regardless the words used)

Kudos to those who do not believe in any of these things since not all are seen supernatural yet they are called god by the individual believers nonetheless.

Some say that they themselves are god? The ultimate answer to all problems and the controllers of what is to come? They are the ultimate expression of intelligencia?

Personally, I think Jesus is the way to the Father, the truth and the life

Of course, the universe is very smart, it feels, it has memory and can express love. It is also very spiritual. Do you believe that?

It's actually foreign. I never got that impression from the universe. Especially emotions like love. I'd say it is the movement of the physical universe. Gratitude and freedom would be the closest bit not from the or a universe.

Smart and feels and expresses love?

I can't figure the logistics in that.

It is pretty simple, actually...

I was wondering about that, too.

Since I don't believe in the supernatural, nor do I believe in an Omni God, my God would be the great mystery of existence that is the eternal source of all life.

My " one Truth " is predicated by the quality of trustworthiness. All the virtues stem from that quality of character. One reason I seek a greater God is the existence of Virtues. I can envision a supreme morality that really has no burden to carry, nor does it leave anyone in chains. If it is a burden to many then chances are they live a wayward life of misery, and wrongfulness.

And when I'm certain that no God exists, I defer to the mystery source. And the mystery source is some kind of natural intelligence that propagates life.

So my conviction ranges from Supreme to natural eternal intelligence.

The particular God I believe in is still being revealed to me. All I can do is say some Biblical things about this God but there is so much more.

I thought I asked you if you think the stars, the moon, etc, think. Isn't that what I asked you?
I don't know. They serve a purpose, don't they? How about you, do you think, feel and love? Are you a product of what is? If you, an expression of this Universe, thinks, feels and loves, is it safe to say such things originate from this Universe? I am assuming you didn't plop in from another dimension.;)

It couldn't be any other way. We came from what is. Look around and tell me your origin is from elsewhere. :)

My origin is from the maker of what I see when I look around.
God is alive and is the life giver. I am superior to what I see when I look around me and He is far superior to anything I see when I look around me.
He is also everywhere, not just where the universe is. And as Paul quoted to the Athenians from one of their philosophers , Epimenides, "In Him we live and move and have our being" and as he quoted from another philosopher Aratus, "We are His offspring".
We are made from the elements we see when we look around us but we have a spirit in us which gives us life and consciousness and so we are more than the elements and even the energy we see when we look around us.

It took more than 20 years for me to reach the understanding of God that i hold today, why?

Because i was always looking at it the wrong way, i was looking for a "being" of similarity to human form, the i looked for a physical entity, but always outside of "my self" only when i looked deep inside of my own being did i realize God is pure light, but not in a solid body. God is energy that create light.

The answer to what God is is not yet fully answered by me :) i do not see the full image of God, only a tiny part :)

1. If you are atheist and don't believe god exists, which "god" are you referring to?

The problem with your list is that without further elucidation they are ambiguous at best.

My answer to your question is: all of them that I've encountered that came with a reasonably coherent definition and are not a pointless relabelling of something that obviously exists.

If you just say the word 'god' or, to take an example, "god is the spark of the physical universe", then I'm igtheist, rather than atheist.
