Can consciousness come from nothing?
Can consciousness come from nothing?
so you're implying that the transceiver is capturing information from it's surroundings, downloading it, translating it, and then it disappears? so all information ceases to exist; so then how did something come from nothing to begin with? No. Your consciousness form as you grow older and access the word and people youre around. The awareness goes when the brain dies.
What is consciousness apart from our brain and mind?
Can consciousness devise a way of bringing itself into existence from nothing?

so when a piece of the hologram is destroyed the hologram is destroyed?
Our thoughts hold in what we extract from our environment, how we label our feelings and so forth. It comes from response to a stimili. So, say if someone hits you, your pain didnt just pop from no where (though age may make it seem so). Its based on the laws of cause and effect.
I dont know if this is scientifically sound, but I figure our thoughts are just nerve responses to external stimili. The "photocopy" of that stimili is interpreted to language and depending on the intensity say of being yelled at vs. PTSD depends on whether we keep those thoughts. We replay them in our heads as OOs to their 1s in computer language. Like computers, it shoots out info but internally its nothing but Os and 1s.
But this cant happen without consciousness. It comes and goes like a train moving and nerve impulse sparkling. But, like a computer, just because the 0 isnt seen doesnt mean it cant be used again to create another set of languages for computer function.
Absolutely. We can test it by examining the RF posts¡¡¡Can nothing have consciousness? How should we test it...
I first rated that funny, but I have to give you winner this time...Absolutely. We can test it by examining the RF posts¡¡¡
languages are a form of an idea. there can be an infinite number of language forms expressing an idea. the idea looks different but the idea is being expressed differently. the idea doesn't change, the form does. the information is still there the form it takes isn't. the consciousness is still there. the form it takes isn't.I dont understand the second part; but...
Say you're a toddler and you are starting develop language and meanful behavior in relation to people and your environment. You become consciously aware of what affects you and your bring interprets these things as being either X or why. As external stimili start to be explained by language the awareness to create understanding of language.
Yes. It does all of that. I wouldnt say it disappears. Its just ongoing like 0s and 1s dont disapear when doing computer language. Once the computer is broke, so is the PC that translate language. Our brains are like computers. They are the same. No metaphysics about it.
. Consciousness just seems weird because we use it to think about consciousness.
It works at soooooo many levels!! Thanks.I first rated that funny, but I have to give you winner this time...
