I have come to believe that the individual soul is neutral but it experiences as one gender or the other for a few incarnations but will switch.after we let go of this life.....do we continue in gender as we are now?
are you expecting to meet others having some lean one gender or the other?
or is it all neutral in mind and heart....the body having perished?
That's assuming that male homosexuality is a feminine trait. I'm bi (or "flexible", as I like to say) and my feelings towards men are not feminine at all.I have come to believe that the individual soul is neutral but it experiences as one gender or the other for a few incarnations but will switch.
Could this have something to do with some homosexuality, etc.???
Having had a NDE, we're genderless in Heaven; in Hell though we're only a soul without a body, our infinite nature isn't recognized.....after we let go of this life.....do we continue in gender as we are now?

I am not clear what that means???I'm bi (or "flexible", as I like to say) and my feelings towards men are not feminine at all.
I'm saying that male homosexuality isn't necessarily a feminine trait and that gay or bisexual men aren't necessarily feminine. Most aren't.I am not clear what that means???
I acknowledge it is a complicated subject, and I was just suggesting that possibly an incarnation that is a switch after a few of one gender may be part of the complicated subject.I'm saying that male homosexuality isn't necessarily a feminine trait and that gay or bisexual men aren't necessarily feminine. Most aren't.

Mormonism teaches exactly the same thing.Well, Catholicism teaches that human souls have a gender, since the soul is intimately connected to the body. So I would say yes.
Can you define the word "gender"? Specifically what you think it means in this context.after we let go of this life.....do we continue in gender as we are now?

The Baha'i view as I understand it is that our relationship with others will be based on spiritual qualities rather than physical or material qualities we have in this world... Shoghi Effendi as guidance for Baha'is noted the following:
'There is no teaching in the Bahá’í Faith that “soul mates” exist. What is meant is that marriage should lead to a profound friendship of spirit, which will endure in the next world, where there is no sex, and no giving and taking in marriage; just the way we should establish with our parents, our children, our brothers and sisters and friends a deep spiritual bond which will be everlasting, and not merely physical bonds of human relationship.'
