Oooo... I'd love that, if only I could play chess. Are the hobbits represented? Err... I should say, all the hobbits? I'm pretty sure Frodo would be, but I'm a fan of all of 'em.
Meh...who needs to know how to play chess to own a chess board (besides, it'd be the perfect incentive for you to learn ;) )? Hobbits, I don't remember off the top of my head - but I think it was just Frodo and possibly Samwise. I do remember that they had Orcs as pawns for the 'dark' side. It was very cool. :p

I have the LOTR chess set and it is awsome! My 8 year old is in love with it and now I have to teach her to play chess. The only character they left out was Eyowen(mmmmm..Eyowen).I thought they should have had more about her and Faramir in the movies and less of Aragorn and arwen.Even when I read the books as a young lad Eyowen stuck out as one of my favorites.I wanted to see her defiant before the Witch king ,not on her knees as in the movie. As you can see I am also a LOTR geek.(did anyone else cry tears of joy when Gandlf fell battling the Balrog all the way down?).:jam:

I have SW monopoly for the original series! It's awesome! It's funny when I make people play it with me because they get so confused by the names.

I have them both! The one for the original series and the one for the prequels! People always make fun of me for having them, but meh, I'm already an admitted geek.

The ad for this new toy states:
From the moment you put on this menacing gear, you become the ultimate villain of Star Wars. Strike fear throughout the galaxy by changing your voice to sound like Darth Vader's! This realistic headgear and chestplate will make you master of the dark side of the Force! This is the ultimate headgear for any fan of the Star Wars movies! Easy-to-adjust straps allow you to fit the helmet comfortably on your head. Once you're wearing the helmet, three different modes allow you to adjust the pitch of your voice! Make actual Darth Vader breathing sounds, or hear real phrases spoken by Lord Vader in the movies! Best of all, activate the third mode and speak into the helmet...your voice will sound just like Darth Vader's! Awesome helmet and chestplate makes your voice sound just like Darth Vader's! Comes with instructions.

I don’t need instructions for this toy I already know what I would do with my Darth Vader helmet.

1. Find James Earl Jones (he lives in the same county as I do) and find out what he sounds like in the helmet.

2. Make obscene phone calls.

3. Have mrscarrdero dress up like Princess Leia from Episode 4 A New Hope (complete with hair buns) and menace and threaten her until she makes me Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls.

Watching the commentary of STAR WARS Episode 4 with Lucas, Fisher and (the second camera guy) on DVD which I feel is as much anticipated as the digitally transferred movie on DVD was.
