For those of you who haven't guessed by now, I chose Star Wars.

There are lots of reasons, but the two that comes to mind are lightsabers and Samuel L. Jackson. I think that's one of the only movie where he didn't drop an "M.F." bomb....which is a shame cause it would of made the last three Star wars that much more awesome. :D

I choose real life because you never know what's going to happen next, the special effects are incredible, and you never have to worry about the director selling out. :p

(damn it, I forgot to take my anti-sanctomony meds this morning). *"gulp gulp"*

*(Ahhhhh, that's better)

Like I say, beer, no contest.

How quickly we forget the OPENING scene...

Star Trek: Space, the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its continuing mission: To explore strange new worlds. To seek out new life and new civilizations. To boldly go where no one has gone before. (Set in the 23rd century)

It appears that their copyrights might not indicate which came first after all! :D

In the above quote the opening was said by Jean Luke Picard

In the original the original Star Trek Kirk said...........

Space... the Final Frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its five-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before.

Well I learn something new every day! Star trek theme Lyrics that were not sung during the opening theme.

Beyond the rim of the starlight,
my love is wandring in star flight.
I know he'llfind
In star clustered reaches
Love, strange love
A starwoman teaches.

I konw his journey ends never.
His Star Trek will go on forever.
But tell him while
He wanders his starry sea,
Remember,
Remember me.

It's a tough choice for me. The star wars universe has a rich and diverse history with heavy religious undertones but it is very black and white and the latest three movies weren't the best. Meanwhile Star Trek could very well be our future(or something similar) and has ways of addressing in metaphorical ways all kinds of past and current issues but most of the movies are pretty bad and it's not as action packed as star wars. As for the other two I don't like beer and Ewoks are far too cute to shoot. If I could choose wich world to live in it would be star wars but in terms of which is better entertainment wise I would have to go with star trek. Why, characters and character development. I love Data and the Doctor. but lets not forget that darling Q, He's my absolute fav and could wipe out the whole of the star wars universe with a snap of his fingers.

Once again handsomeness favors the Trekkie debate.

I agree with your statment but not with your picture. True he's handsome and all but...
