I do not need to try to understand Palestinians, I have great empathy for the observers of Islam, even if I do not agree with them. It is those who advocate Jihad and Sharia law to justify their position, who I believe are the problem. Not that Christian and Jewish leaders have been any better; that is why I believe there are now 39 books in the OT rather than just two; Genesis and Isaiah. Genesis to tell us where we came from and Isaiah to tell where we are going, and when. For 42 years, since I was called from a practicing atheist to prophet, 99% of the time, I have only ever been inspired to interpret the allegories and mysteries in these two books. I hope this will not upset you, but I can prove, in Genesis, which Muslims also respect, that Ishmael was not Abraham's son. There are three separate accounts of the birth of Ishmael; Gen 12:11-16, is a repeat of Gen 20:1-14 and the third, Gen 15:3 which is the furphy, introduced, probably by Moses, to hide Abram's indiscretion in allowing Sarai to be taken to Pharaoh Abimelec so as to gain an heir, because he believed that God had failed to give him an heir, from his own bowels. However, the implications of this insight, can be either incredibly good, or incredibly bad, depending on how gently I can show Muslims that they are not worshiping the God of Abram; in which case, who is Allah?
