Subway is known for catering to local dietary habits. Some of them in Indiana don't even serve meat. But even here, the meats are turkey based rather than the meats typically used.Subway here does not provide pork

Maybe I love Subway, but man, Al-Baik is in a complete level of its own!
Dude, if I'd ever leave Saudi Arabia, one of the things I'd regret is leaving Al-Baik
Al-Baik is mainly only in Jiddah Makkah and Madinah. All other attempts to start branches in other places failed so far.
I believe it is the most crowded and successful restaurant in the country.
Here all is available. I guess their choice here was to provide low calorie everything but in comparison to its own, like chicken breasts instead of chicken legs and beef from lower calorie parts of the cow.
Subway is ok, but I've always preferred Hank's or Freddie's chees-burgers and fries, and Goldie's Chilie chees-burger and fries, oh and Wendy's double cheese-burger, fries, and frosty. Now days I seem to maintain a wait of 170-75 lbs no matter what or how much I eat. I do love grilled and fried food. Maybe my key is that I don't eat a lot of sweets and drink about 2.5 liters of water a day.

That stuff can be deadly. I remember the day after Christmas a fews years back. Slightly elevated levels in Indonesia resulted in mass deaths.

Yes I see, it was the same when I was once a Seventh Day Adventist, they also don't allow pork.For me personally it is good. But that's not it, this is Saudi Arabia, remember?

Yes I agree.Subway is overrated, my opinion.
The bread is mushy, the veggies taste blah. Not my thing, really. lol
You must have gone to a bad one. I've never found that.
It's simple food. But the quality is consistent. So if I want something to eat for $5-8 in 15 minutes Subway is usually the only choice.
What do you think is better?

Moe's for a decent salad, similar price point and your local grocery store, if they have a decent deli. I just don't find Subway all that flavorful, but for the price, I guess it's not horrible. lol

Subway is overrated, my opinion.
Weird, it is tastes good here. But I don't disagree. Compared to many other places, Subway is nothing to me really. Saudis radically love food and eat too much, so here we have so many good places with competitive prices
