Suing the Parents of Bullies?

So when a child is physically assaulted it's a "learning experience", but not for an adult?

You're like 2 steps ahead of me.

So you define bullying as a physical assault? If my child was beaten by a gang, I would consider that a crime and as a parent, I would deal with it as a crime.

Again, this is our own conflicting definitions of what is considered bullying, less or even more than. I see more and more that this subject is a huge grey zone for all of us.

Your point is made under your own assumptions, but I don't think you've read through all my comments to understand my assumptions.

I read your comments. You use terms like "endure situations", "shielding them", "learning experience".

Bullying takes on many forms, and being physically assaulted is just one form. And a lot of times a child is not bullied by one person but many. Now can you apply that to an adult? What would you do if you were bullied? What would you do if you were beat up multiple times just for fun? What would you do if you had your reputation ruined online? Would you call the cops?

Every situation requires evaluation. I'll simplify it to that. Not every case of bullying is considered a crime.

Again, I will let my child try to solve it where I believe he can meet the goal of learning and becoming better. If I feel that that goal cannot be met or if it becomes dangerous, then I will intervene. I'm repeating myself. If you disagree then fine, you disagree. But then I think we'll be at a stand off in our opinions, which is fine with me too. To each there own.
