I love tea parties. You may be able to find a teapot at a thrift store.Who here likes having tea parties?
I'm hosting one tomorrow
I have a cake
It's going to be awesome
I don't have a tea pot though
Although I suppose I could see if I could borrow one from my neighbours...
Quite a big one for just two people! What kind of cake?
That sounds delicious.Quite a big one for just two people!
It's got a load of icing on top, and is decorated with flat sugar stars
It appears to be made using two pieces of cake with a layer of jam between them
When I slice it up I'll photograph it and post some pics on RFThat sounds delicious.

Coffee parties are more hardcore than tea parties!I don't think I've ever had or attended a tea party, although I have been to Boston a few times. And I wasn't part of the "Tea Party" when that was a thing.
I do like coffee parties, though.
Your tea party has no teapot......Isn't that the most important part of a tea party....the tea, I mean.....do you have access to water, or is that not in your party plans..?....Coffee parties are more hardcore than tea parties!
Gotta have a pot for that mate. Ain’t the same with tea bags.Who here likes having tea parties?

That's a nice thing to do!Tea parties are rarer but do happen. I'll bake a sponge cake in the morning then invite a couple of neighbours for tea and cake in the afternoon.
What's your favourite brand?I've found a couple of suppliers of good loose leaf British teas.
That's a nice thing to do!
What's your favourite brand?
I don't use loose leafs, only bags!
My favourite tea is Yorkshire Tea
Blech! It is not too late to make a traditional English trifle:
Rachel's Traditional English Trifle Recipe
If you're hosting a Friends-themed Friendsgiving dinner then it's an absolute must that you make Rachel's Traditional English Trifle for dessert! I mean, "Jam? Good! Custard? Good! Meat? GOOD!"www.saltycanary.com
“First, there’s a layer of lady fingers, then a layer of jam, then custard, which I made from scratch, then raspberries, more ladyfingers, then beef sautéed with peas and onions, more custard, and then bananas, and then I just put some whipped cream on top!”
