While narrating to Moses the first of the ten commandments, Jehovah says: You shall have no other gods before me. - Exodus 20.3

Destroy completely all the places on the high mountains and on the hills and under every spreading tree where the nations you are dispossessing worship their gods. This dictum gives permanence to the phenomenon of hatred, and passion for destruction, as long as Jews and Christians live on this earth, as they consider their Bible as Holy Bible, though howsoever unholy it may sound. a) Do not marry with idol worshippers!

Worshipping God of another faith amounts to committing adultery, says the Bible!

Yet they would not listen to their judges but prostituted themselves to other gods and worshiped them.
