I think all U.S. states should be bastions of rights, freedom, equality, and justice....not some trashy theocracy.

I'm not sure what the new law says. Given the attacks on freedom from the extreme authoritarian right, I would not be surprised to learn that they tried to make that illegal as well.
Otherwise, the rich and middle class will travel to get abortions and infanticide will increase in Texas with the poor going to jail.
Maybe we should invite the Taliban over here to set up the Islamic State of, say, Georgia. People who don't like it can leave, of course.

I do know if a person say went to Colorado and smoked pot where it was legal then in their states where its illegal they can be fired from their job for testing positive of an illegal substance.

Again, why not take your own advice; stop whining and just leave?
You realize that not everyone has the means to just pack up and move, right?
Also pretty rich coming from someone who hawks war and world policing to take a 'let the fascists threatening life and liberty govern and the rest can move out if they want' stance.
The reason I mentioned that idea is that living under a theocracy that does not match 100% what you want and enforces that difference is a great way to turn people against theocracies.

Nobody is forbidden to leave the state, and yea if your desperate enough, people can and do find the means to commute out of the state.
It's kind of funny the left accuses the right of fascism, when those qualities apply just as evenly.
Additionally,
I'm all for preventing dangerous groups from ever becoming a threat to the free world. If that's hawking war then yep, I'm a hawk in that regard.

Yep. And when that's done, the US will split. The dems get the east and the west, the reps get the south (with plenty of space since the blacks, Mexicans and women left), the Mormons get Utah and the north gets annexed by Cannukistan.
