The assumption of evolution can cause problems

I think you miss the point. The public is bombarded with new discoveries "proving" evolution. The media was blitzed with news of Ida, including a book and TV documentary, according to AP. Then, when the facts come to light, the PUBLIC are not bombarded with these facts. More like, "Evolution is true, Evolution is true, oh, by the way, Ida isn't the proof of evolution we claimed it was, Evolution is true...."
If the point is that a corporate profit-based media conglomerate is a poor means of communicating scientifically accurate information then yes, I agree. Science reporting is usually disappointing and emphasizes the spectacle and omits the details. But this is for science reporting in general, not just biology. And none of this has any bearing on the validity of evolution.

Sir Isaac Newton was both a believer in creation and a scientist. The two coexisted successfully in Newton.
The preponderance of evidence in favour of evolution, 300 yrs ago, should have convinced him surely.
Oh, there was only creation as an explanation then, well I don't see how he could possibly believe such nonsense, in that case.

Actually, diseases are the result of man's evildoing. When Adam rebelled against his Creator and Lifegiver, he brought sin into the world with it's deadly consequences. (Romans 5:12)

No, God never fails at anything he purposes to do. He has set a time to end the misrule of earth by wicked men. (Matthew 24:36) God sent his Son to provide a ransom from sin, and Jesus demonstrated his ability to heal the sick, give sight to the blind, and even raise the dead. (Matthew 20:28,Acts 10:38) This demonstration of God's power is evidence of his love and his purpose to end suffering earthwide.
God's patience has allowed time to settle the controversy over who is the rightful sovereign, and given men time to come to know God.
Almighty god created everything, oh except that, oh and that, oh ok that too, oh alright he didn't create that, yes I get your point he didn't create that either, ok almighty god created some stuff. But we created all the rest. YAY us.
The word you were looking for was "plan" purpose just isn't appropriate where you lot try to substitute it. Now when was that time again when Jesus was coming back with a sword in his mouth, that's how he got the nickname mumbles. Oh that's right 1878, how did that work out for Charlie. You know all the times that god has whispered in JW ears, I think he's been having a lend of you. Or maybe it was just wishful thinking for the doomsday cult.

It means what I said it means. That the media, academia, and the ToE elite are all too ready to feed the public ToE propaganda that later turns out to be erroneous or fraudulent. When revealed, there's hardly a mention of the mistakes made by the errant media, or of the facts that support any idea other than evolution.
And yet, if one completely ignores the media, and reads only actual research (which isn't designed for the public, and most of the public either can't easily access it and/or can't understand it), the theory of evolution remains. So if "the media, academia, and the ToE elite are all too ready to feed the public" something, why the technical studies published in peer-reviewed journals which the public almost never reads and is certainly not designed for public consumption still absolutely support the ToE?
