The awful Education system of the US

Aye, I see shortcomings too.
But schools never ask for my advice.

I once had an employee (maintenance) who was
nearly done with his 4-yr sociology degree.
He complained about not liking the few remaining
courses he had to take. I asked why get the degree.
His family wanted him to be a college graduate.
I asked him if he needed it to feel better about himself,
or he'd use the degree or make more money.
He quit the program. Good move.

I see a TV commercial every now and then about a guy who says he is a physician, surgeon and a lawyer. If I remember right he is a motor vehicle accident attorney. I think somewhere in Missouri.

How could you possibly not feel good enuf?

- Excel at at math.
- Know kung fu.
- Save money by shopping in the petite department.
- Are wealthy.
- Are young.
- Are smarter than the average bear.
- Are fetching.
- Have a law degree.
(The good thing is having not become a lawyer.)
- Are wealthy.

I save even more by getting the identical
shoes from kids section.
I'm lousy at math.
All I know of Kung fu is I've seen Bruce Lee's statue.
Almost 40
8 years of college for nothing
Let family down by not having a son.
Money means a lot more if you earn it.

There's ups n downs, plus and minus.
The weather is great this time of year,
Nice house with view of the ocean,
And a significant other to share with.

A voracious reader and a fantastic dancer.
I save old photos but always forget my umbrella. I let my emails pike up but I always remember to call my grandmother. I have seven dollars change at the bottom of my handbag.
