What's the biggest myth about the other sex that you've ever heard? If you're female, what's the biggest myth about males that you ever heard? If you're male, what's the biggest myth about females that you've ever heard?

Growing up many many years ago, it was widely assumed that women didn't like sex. This has to be the biggest myth I've heard in my life about women. What's yours?

Similar to yours; women are far more interested in the psychological aspects of love than the physical.
But since that one is so similar to yours, I'll have to choose another one:-

I graduated High School in 1999. So yeah, I guess they have.

The old notion that women didn't like sex implied that sex was essentially exploitive since the woman got almost nothing out of it, while the man got a great deal of pleasure. Talk about a guilt trip!

That must of come from someone who had a dissatisfied partner. Pleasuring women is nothing to be ashamed of. Some older people in my Church have the same concept.

I think the notion that women don't enjoy sex lead to a lot of self fulfilling prophecies. If you believe women don't enjoy sex, then why make an effort to pleasure a woman?

That's very true. If both are unselfish the outcome should be a good one. And if it's not, the intention and unselfishness is seen by both and positive feelings continue to be produced. I think that's healthy and fulfilling.

Same or more that they don't have a sex drive. They do just as a guy you have to learn what buttons to press. Learning that is alot of fun in itself though:woohoo:

Ahh, women. Women, women, women, women, women, women, women.

For you young fellows fresh from the cusp of a blooming manhood, the questions abound. What are women like? What do women want? How should I treat a woman? Perhaps the thorniest problem for a young man is finding a woman in the first place. It turns out to be……nearly impossible.

This reporter spent countless hours searching for a woman but to no avail.

The nearest I came during an intense stake out was this fellow who experts believe is not a woman.

We begin to wonder, where are all the women? The overheated references in poetry, the images that dominate our media, is it all- an elaborate fraud?

This grainy photograph is the only direct evidence we have of a woman in her natural environment. The longer hair, the gentle and nurturing demeanor are typical of how witnesses describe their supposed encounters with women.

This footprint, while possibly the work of jokesters, is possibly another piece of the puzzle.

Some day perhaps, an actual woman will emerge and they will no longer exist in the realm of myth and maybe.
