No that attitude came about because a lot of men were selfish pricks who didn't care at all about pleasing the woman. For a long time if you could get it up and get it in, you figured you were a casanova. And as women need more warm up and generally take a longer time to acheive orgasm than men, they rarely if ever acheived release, and resultantly the myth that women did not like sex became popular.

It was not that they were ashamed of pleasing a woman, that thought never entered their mind.

Women who are strong and assertive enough to do the stuff that is traditionally the "man's job" must be lesbians :rolleyes:

I actually get this a lot.... and the guys who know otherwise in my own case tend to be intimidated by a woman that can actually do stuff like lead an attack on a structure fire or operate a bulldozer or own and operate a chain saw bigger than the one they own.

Growing up many many years ago, it was widely assumed that women didn't like sex. This has to be the biggest myth I've heard in my life about women. What's yours?

That Woman are clean and tidy. Women don't seem to start cleaning (at all) till they have kids. Must be a hormonal thing :p . *hides behind keyboard*

Oh, that's definitely true (except for me, because I'm very clean). Each of my roommates is waaay dirtyer than my twin brother.

I believe it is correctly that a 'real' man doesn't cry...but I've found that is just not true...even real men cry...the sissy ones cry all the time...but when you see a real man cry for the first time when you've thought for so long this was some unfeeling tough guy you learn that guys are actually MORE emotional than women( it really touches you in the heart)...learning how to read them on the other hand takes on new meaning.

I always heard that men think with the wrong head...(shakes head bewildered, locks of BLONDE hair swaying around...wondering what that means)...any guy care to answer that one??? Well...do you?;)

Well, I can't think of any that I personally believed off the top of my head, but I knew a guy at Uni who firmly believed that women didn't fart - except for his mother and his sister (but they didn't count, cause they weren't real women :areyoucra ). He was most shocked the night I showed him differently. :biglaugh:

Well I'd give you an answer FTH but someone would probably ban my account :D .

I don't know if we're more emotional though. We just tend to save it up and get it over in one big spurt. I cried for about 3 hours after my last GF dumped me but the crying was more for the women I left before that (and shouldn't have *throws up hands* AHHH life goes on).

LOL! I have a sister who used to be quite proud of her ability to make one rip whenever she was in the most inappropriate places... She loved shocking people. :biglaugh:

When I was at Uni I hung around with a large group of guys. They would burp and fart whenever they felt the need, so I figured what the hell, I would too. :p There have only been two other people I've been friends with since then that I felt comfortable enough to do that around. They were female (and gave every bit as good as I did lol). I used to be able to burp entire sentences, but sadly it's a talent that needs to be used to be maintained. I've rather lost the knack.

I've heard all women are crazy, insane, and not down-to-earth. But to be quite honest, I've never met a single female that has disproven this. Especially when women are stoned, that just makes them alot worse. I've heard things come out of female mouths that definitly disprove the "females don't enjoy sex as much" myth.
