White bread can be good too, homemade. Sure, it's got nothing on multigrain for depth of flavor but it can still be pretty good. One of these days, I need to make some actual bread. I helped mom make fresh bread as a kid but never made it on my own. Unless you count scones. Mmmm scones...
I usually buy bread. Natures Own butter bread is all I will buy.

The correct way to do toast?​


As my dad said often enough when he made toast, "just as i like it, black but not burnt"

I think it has been scientifically proven that cutting toast diagonally rather than into rectangles make more toast.

So if you want more toast, cut it diagonally. If you're on a diet, cut it into rectangles.

So it looks, optical illusion i think

They are precisely the same volume and weight . I measured and weighted them both ;-)

And looking at the pic shows the squares of slightly more toasted areas count to 16
