So...why couldn't someone be the descendant of Jesus? It would first of all require proving his physical existence, which has been debated from the start. We have no pictures, no birthdate, no clothes, no family remains.
Someone could be. In fact many people could be descended from him. The problem is finding any evidence for it. One would need to know Jesus's DNA at the very least to tell if anyone was his descendant. We do not have Jesus's DNA, at least not the last time that I checked. And even if we did have his DNA this far down the line it would probably be very difficult to separate someone descended from Jesus from someone that was descended from a brother or sister of Jesus. The OP claims to have proof but has not supplied any that I have seen.

Hi,

My Husband is the DNA confirmed Direct Descendant of Jesus and Mary Magdalene and the Heir to the Scottish Throne.
This did take some time for my Husband to get his head around. He was unaware. Absolutely no Idea.
Our story is quite unique and very interesting. We are getting a heap of good feedback but naturally we get the negative stuff too. And you know what, That is okay. There always needs to be darkness for the light to be able to shine.
We have created a YouTube Channel and we have been doing live streams where we talk about our story. How my Husband was made aware he was the Heir and what we believe the original message was.
Just in case you are wondering, we feel the original message was a spiritual one not a religious one and that is really evident if you read the hidden gospels. They were hidden for a reason.
My Husband and I are Spiritual. Not Religious.
My Husband and I don't want to Dismantle the Church. After all, it is HISTORY and it is also HIS STORY. The story of the trials and tribulations of humanity.

Sorry, but that story is obviously implausible.
  1. Jesus's DNA is not on record, so there would be no way that a DNA test would tell you this
  2. Immediately, your motive of seeking attention (and it's probably a joke) shows
  3. If the initial story was plausible, you continue by saying that he's also the heir to the Scottish throne.
  4. No offense, but you seem like one of these people who is convinced of their own spirituality by going to a bunch of meditation circles, and getting sucked into a great deal of nonsense. Sorry to break up your Eat, Pray, Love fantasy but that's kinda all it is. You're
  5. All of these stories like the Celestine Prophecy and the Da Vinci Code are basically patent nonsense, a stupid idea meant to undermine the church that fell completely flat, and only suckers buy this. I'll explain why.
Even if he did love Mary Magdalene (a casual read of the Bible lends to the impression that he was asexual, and spent much more time teaching real spirituality than he did engaging in sex; in short, while most people around him were marrying and having huge families, he seemed to care about saving souls), it is highly unlike that anything came of it. Why? Because Jesus was probably intersex, and thus sterile.

Let me explain why this is. Mary was born of a virgin. In scientific terms, this is known as parthenogenesis, and refers to something that is not supposed to happen to humans but effectively her womb produced a child without a man (God is spirit, so again, there wasn't any sperm involved). In cases of parthenogenesis, the child is an XX baby, a clone of its mother. Only, it was an opposite sex clone, but since there is no Y chromosome, this would lead to what is called a XX male.

XX male syndrome - Wikipedia

XX Males are basically male in basic form only. They can't reproduce, and usually don't have much body hair either.

I believe that falls into the category of wishful thinking. In order to get a DNA match on Jesus one would need Jesus and He is not here to give one.

Pleasseeee someone make this a comic. Jesus and the Scone

Turning stones into scones.
The Stone of Scone, or Scone for short... I think I first heard of it through a parody of it in of the Discworld books where some lineage was crowned on a literal scone made out of stone or something.

We are all related to Jesus, and there is monarchy in every one of our cells.
But Jesus bore no children - His life was given to the ministry.

Well, at best - from a quick search - I found parallels between the Scone and Jesus, but not anything that clearly states that Jesus (or his descendant) should be King of Scotland... Unless you say that the Scottish kings claimed to be descendants of Jesus?

I am not saying anything. I think it is BS, but some folk believe it. Here is the connection to Scottish Kings.

Takes all kinds to make a world.
Who needs the world, when we've got RF. On the upside: If you're having a difficult time finding a compatible life-time partner, consider going to Australia. Melissa and her husband, Brett, appear to have a match "made in heaven"; and that's a good thing, I say.

Greetings and salutations. Welcome to the forum.

Let's assume that you had evidence to back this up and it turns out that you, indeed, are a direct descendant of Jesus and Mary Magdalene.

Why would it matter to anyone other than you?

I believe it matters not at all. There is a saying in Christianity that God doesn't have grandchildren. So setting apart the non-Biblical heresies for a moment and the fact that the view is non-Biblical, a descendant of someone from that period could be an atheist.

I believe to separate Jesus out from brothers and sisters, one would need the DNA of Mary Magdalene the imaginary mate.

Alright! Either Melissa and her husband voted "Yes", or RF has two more "very special people" in it than I thought it had before today. Which is it? and if it's the latter, Who is it?

Having looked at the evidence I'm pretty sure that it traces back to Fred and Wilma Flintstone.

I don't believe I am related to them but I do have a 16th century Jewish ancestor in Holland. It shows up on my DNA as Middle Eastern but on my kids DNA as Ashkenazi Jewish. I think he was in the Jewelry business, go figure.

I agree. That is why the OP's claim appears to be rather nonsensical. I am not saying it is impossible to be a descendant, but to claim that one is requires evidence on the part of the person making the claim. Once again, I did not see any. I do not think that anyone saw any here.
