The Divinity of the Quran vs. the Bible

First can you tell me what's the meaning of the word 'Begotten'

Secondly where is it written in bible jesus(pbuh) is a special son of god??

Third: the verse thrown out was related to trinity and you are correct not this one

Begotten, to give rise to; to bring about. Even if we leave out the word begotten, we can go to the Greek and see the the phrase is unique son. We can even forget about the account in John, and just go to Matthew or Luke in which claim that Jesus is the literal son of God.

islam432: "First can you tell me what's the meaning of the word 'Begotten'

Joh 3:16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

definition of the word translated: "only begotten" :
μονογενής
monogenēs
mon-og-en-ace
From G3441 and G1096; only born, that is, sole: - only (begotten, child).

jesus is the only born of god - all other sons of god/servants/ beleivers are reborn sons of god according to the spirit, and sacrifice of jesus. being born of men w/ spirit of man/bondage and reborn of the spirit of god/spirit of freedom/life

Secondly where is it written in bible jesus(pbuh) is a special son of god??"

jesus the son of god is a special son of god according to prophecy/god's word
Isa 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Mat 1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
Mat 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Mat 1:22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
Mat 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us

I'm just going to address this. Matthew and Luke, the infancy narratives, state clearly, that Jesus is the physical son of God. That it was God's spirit who descended upon Mary, and thus he was conceived. Meaning he was the literal son of God.

do all messengers of god :
Heb 9:9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;
Heb 9:10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.
Heb 9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
Heb 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
Heb 9:13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
Heb 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

islam432:" All messengers of God ,guide people and save them from sins"

do they also: purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? with their blood that is?

Its miracle given to Prophet to Jesus(pbuh) like given to the other Prophets(pbuh all) ,like in same way Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was give a miracle to split the moon

it clearly written in bible that Jesus (pbuh) was a prophet of God.

"Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know."

Jesus Christ (pbuh) never claimed Divinity

(i) "My Father is greater than I."
[The Bible, John 14:28]

(ii) "My Father is greater than all."
[The Bible, John 10:29]

(iii) "…I cast out devils by the Spirit of God…."
[The Bible, Mathew 12:28]

(iv) "…I with the finger of God cast out devils…."
[The Bible, Luke 11:20]

(v) "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgement is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me."
[The Bible, John 5:30

The Mission of Jesus Christ (pbuh) – to Fulfill the Law

Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity for himself. He clearly announced the nature of his mission. Jesus (pbuh) was sent by God to confirm the previous Judaic law. This is clearly evident in the following statements attributed to Jesus (pbuh) in the Gospel of Mathew:

"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the Prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

"Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

"For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven."
[The Bible, Mathew 5:17-20]

Is it really that hard to look them up?

Matthew: she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit

do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus,[c] because he will save his people from their sins.

Luke: The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.

Both are talking about a literal son of God.

Also, if you just take the introduction to John, there is a strong suggestion that the author believed Jesus to be divine. More so, if you do some research on early Christianity, you will notice that the divinity of Jesus is a staple in the Christian movement.

islam432: Jesus Christ (pbuh) never claimed Divinity

(i) "My Father is greater than I."

Could this be jesus displaying humility in the form of a man?

Php 2:5
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Php 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
Php 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
Php 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Php 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
Php 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

Rom 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
Rom 4:21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Rom 4:22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
Rom 4:23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
Rom 4:24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
Rom 4:25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

through jesus christ. ^^ because of jesus christ ^^

Jas 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
Jas 2:9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.

jesus lived a sinless life, fulfilling the law, so he could be our sacrifice unto god without blemish or spot, wich is accepted by god because jesus knew no sin. no man ever born of man has fulfilled the law.

jesus is born of god.

By the power of Jesus on Judgment Day, according to the Koran...

فيومئذ وقعت الواقعة وانشقت السماء فهي يومئذ واهية

Fayawma-ithin waqaAAati alwaqiAAatu wainshaqqati alssamao fahiya yawma-ithin wahiyatun

So then on that day, the inevitable Day of Judgment came to pass. And the heaven she rent asunder, so she then on that day torn. (69.15 – 16)

As Christians, we know that this Koranic eschatological material was lifted directly from the pages of Revelation.
