Sounds like a joke. Do you have proof?
According to LDS doctrine, the Garden of Eden was centered in Missouri, and according to LDS doctrine, the New Jerusalem will be built with Missouri as the center point.
The New Jerusalem (Zion) was supposed to be physically built by the early LDS pioneers, while they were in Missouri, but that commandment was revoked, by the Lord. The early LDS pioneers were then driven west to Salt Lake City, Utah, by the Lord, where the New Jerusalem (Zion) was physically built up from that point. and has spread throughout the world, in the form of LDS Wards and Stakes (groups of LDS members and churches).
The New Jerusalem (Zion) has been firmly established throughout the world, but there will also be a New Jerusalem (Zion), which will be built by God, which will descend out of heaven and rest on the earth, with Missouri as the center point.
The city of Enoch was taken into heaven, as a type and shadow of things to come. Just as the city of Enoch was taken into heaven, so shall the New Jerusalem descend out of heaven.

Moses 7: 19, 63
19 And Enoch continued his preaching in righteousness unto the people of God. And it came to pass in his days, that he built a city that was called the City of Holiness, even Zion. • • •
63 And the Lord said unto Enoch: Then shalt thou and all thy
city meet them there, and we will receive them into our bosom, and they shall see us; and we will fall upon their necks, and they shall fall upon our necks, and we will kiss each other;
In this illustration below, move the square up a bit, with Missouri as the center point, where Christ will rule and reign, and you will have an idea of what is to come, also eliminate the sea, which Revelation 21 speaks of.
Revelation 21: 1
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
1300 miles square and 1300 miles high
Rev. 21: 16
And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand
furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
LDS Articles of Faith 1: 10
We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that
Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be
renewed and receive its
paradisiacal glory.
