The Equal Rights Amendment...What Do You Think Of It?

I think it's another step to pushing for a Marxist government in America..

America would've turned "Marxist"* a long time ago considering that it was founded upon the notion of freedom, rights, equality, and justice for all.

*Your nonsensical post leads me to believe that you have no actual understanding of the term.

The ERA has been in the news lately.
Ref....
Equal Rights Amendment - Wikipedia

Section 1.
Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.
Section 2. The Congress shall have the power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.
Section 3. This amendment shall take effect two years after the date of ratification.[8][9]

What do you think it will do?
What won't it do?
Why should congress be appointing itself the right to enforce (or not) this amendment? Shouldn't that be under judicial oversight? Let me guess, it's because they want their wealthy cronies to be able to pay them not to enforce it whenever they please.

I'm not convinced the ERA will change that...or anything.

Consider the military draft:
Only men are eligible.

The power to draft an army is a power given to Congress by the US Constitution. It isn't a right given to citizens. Therefore, Congress can decide who it drafts and how because that is the power given it by the US Constitution.

In a country dominated by extremists and recreational outrage?
Where a popular TV show gets cancelled because someone used a reference to a movie in a political lampooning?

Only an extremist would try to excuse the use of racist epithets because it somehow included a movie reference.

LOL, founded on equality? You do know that the founding Fathers owned slaves, right? Equality my foot!

What does biological difference have to do with everyone having the same rights and freedoms?
Legally, women already have that.
The problem is that commonly, they don't want that. What feminists commonly insist upon is equal outcomes, even when that requires special rights.

Funny how the terms "extremist" and "racist" (and even "sexist") are always misused by liberals to describe anyone who doesn't agree with them. Talk about extremism, lol.

We often see our country as being synonymous with freedom itself, but since our forefathers failed to fully live up to that, let's just stop pretending, toss the constitution in the trash, and install that theocracy you've been itching for anyway.
