The Feminism of the 21st century

What changed during the 1990s was that the public became aware of Clinton's marital infidelity, yet it didn't seem to matter anymore - not like it did with Gary Hart. Or even prior to that, any kind of political sex scandal or extramarital affair would have been fatal to any politician's career. The general public were mostly clueless about JFK's indiscretions until after he was dead. Even the clean-cut, wholesome Dwight D. Eisenhower had a mistress which was concealed to the public.
And my point was that there is a feminist imperialism that means to target the white heterosexual man as the emblem of patriarchy.
So a president's sex life becomes relevant. No matter how private and confidential he keeps it.

I decided to start this thread to understand how feminism has evolved since the 20th century.

Now women are safeguarded by lots of laws, and cannot be considered a "weak" gender, since there is a huge quantity of laws protecting women's rights and punishing gender inequality and gender discrimination.

So what I am wondering is: is feminism in the West still a political priority?
I guess it's not.
In the West feminists fight for non-existent problems, forgetting that feminism is desperately needed in those countries where women have no rights. And they are considered inferior to men.

I am asking feminists to explain me this: thank you in advance.
;)
Just because we have protective laws doesn't mean they aren't still violated.

And there are many places these laws do not apply. For example, there are plenty of religious groups that discriminate against women, viewing us as primarily for giving birth and raising children, "rightly" under the authority of men.

Then there is the fact that in a great many places around the world, there are NO laws protecting women, that there are some places where women are actively persecuted and abused.

So yes, misogyny is still a very real threat in the 21st Century.
