As being the Roman Catholic Church and the Pope as being the beast of
Revelation 13.
That's all man's teachings and nothing that Jesus Christ taught..
If the Roman Catholic Church is Babylon the great..then your going to have to explain exactly how the Roman Catholic Church came to be at the time of Nimrod
of building the tower of Babel.

Note that Babel is short for Babylon.
As both means the same thing
Babel = Babylon.
And during the time of Daniel the prophet time we can find Babylon..
If you say the Roman Catholic Church as being Babylon how exactly did the Roman Catholic Church get all the way back Daniel time and Nimrods time..
When there's no mentioning of the Roman Catholic Church.
The Roman Catholic Church didn't come into existence until the death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ..about 70 years later. And it was Disciples Paul and Peter who establish the Roman Catholic Church about 70 years after the death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
At this time the Roman Catholic Church was called the church of Antioch.
And then many years later, the church of Antioch soon to be called the Roman Catholic Church..
And then many years later the Roman Catholic Church moved to Rome and
over thru the Government of Rome.
Of Constantine and the Pope took the seat of power of Rome.. which is called to day

This is answered through out this thread already and in the very scriptures shown in REVELATION 14, 17 and 18. I believe according to the scriptures that MYSTERY BABYLON is the name of the GREAT WHORE WOMAN sitting on the scarlet coloured beast who is the MOTHER OF HARLOTS

This WOMAN is said to be a GREAT WHORE (Unfaithful and unlawful union - fornication) her name being MYSTERY BABYLON. Not literal BABYLON meaning this unfaithful WOMAN is a confused tyrant drunk with the blood of the saints.

Letting the Word of God interpret itself a WOMAN represents a Christian religion that is either following God or not following God.

Mystery Babylon in the book of Revelations is referring to a Christian religion that was following God but has now left God and is being unfaithful to the teachings of God's Word (fornication = left following God's Word). The whore woman (apostate Church) is further described as committing fornication with the Kings of the earth and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. This apostate church is not following God's Word instead it is following after the Kings and leaders of the world and is making the inhabitants of the earth drunk with false teachings and leading them away from the Word of God (Revelations 17:1-3).

The book of Daniel also describes the beginning of the Mother Harlot Church of Revelations 14, 17 and 18. The Book of Daniel describes four kingdoms that would rule the earth that history identifies as Babylon, Medes and Persians, Greece and the Roman Empires. Out of the Roman Empire would emerge 10 divisions represented by the 10 toes of the great statue and the fourth beast with 10 horns (Daniel 2:41-43 and Daniel 7:7-6). The origin of the apostate political christian church is foretold as appearing as one of the 10 Horns coming out of the fourth beast (Roman Empire)

BEAST = KINGDOM, NATION, POLITICAL POWER, (Daniel 7:17, 23 and Proverbs 28:15)
HORN = KINGDOM, NATION, POLITICAL POWER, (Daniel 7:24; 8:5, 21, 22; Zechariah 1:18-19, Rev. 17:12)

I believe that Mystery Babylon is a religious and political power that subdues three kingdoms on it's rise to power (Daniel 7:20,24). It makes war with God's people (Daniel 7:21) and speaks great things against God (Daniel 7:20). It will also be responsible in changing times and laws (Danial 7:25).

Where the Roman Catholic Church the Vatican now sit's is the same area where Jesus Christ was taken to Emperor Caesar of Rome and stood before Pilate the governor and the people cried out crucify him and Jesus Christ was taken back to Jerusalem and crucified.

Sorry but quoting you does not make it so because you say so. I believe that all the points of the scripture have been addressed in the books of Daniel and Revelation that show that MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT is the name of the GREAT WHORE WOMEN representing the Roman Catholic Church (not all the people in the Church) who is the MOTHER OF HARLOTS (professed protestantism - not all the people in these churchs). I believe this also shows why you are in error. We will have to agree to disagree

I believe that the one Antichrist is the one we are discussing here in this OP supported by the scriptures which is in reference to the man of sin, (Pope) and the unfaithful Mother (The Roman Catholic Church) of harlots (apostate protestantism) - not the people within the church's. The many (antichrists) are anything that is opposed to or against Christ (the Word of God) according to the scriptures IMO.

Actually no. The Greek word of BABYLON is Βαβυλών; Babulōn G897 means a type tyranny. The Hebrew word בּבל; bâbel H894 means confusion. So the combined meaning here and application to REVELATION as the name of the GREAT WHORE and MOTHER OF HARLOTS is that this Church is an unfaithful (to God and his Word), confused tyrant.

God's Church (people) is represented by a Woman. Pure means faithful to God's Word while corrupt and Whore means unfaithful to God and his Word..

Not everyone is an unbeliever and everyone is not defined to only those who post here in this thread, but I believe it is true if you do not believe in God or his Word you will not understand it according to the scriptures as the scriptures that teach that the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness to him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned *1 CORINTHIANS 2:14.

That's not hard to understand. None of the words are unfamiliar. But if anybody wants to do what you are doing in this thread and tell you what it means to them as if that was all it could mean to anybody, and then tell you that they had special powers of discernment, tell them the words don't actually mean anything.

And just as the images on a Rorschach test aren't of anything, biblical scripture is a linguistic Rorschach test.

If you want the most neutral interpretation of scripture, go to an unbeliever. He'll have no agenda to try to make it make sense, whereas the believer will change the meanings of words to sanitize them. For example,there is nothing blessed about being meek, which is a poverty of spirit that causes one to be easily imposed upon when he should be assertive and stand up for himself or others.

But the believer will generally change meek to humble or something similar, which is a completely different word, as one can be humble without being meek. I don't need to do that, so I can give you a clearer picture of what the words mean as I have here.

Someday, I'll tell you why turning the other cheek is a bad idea and why just about every other option is better, including putting your hands up to defend your face rather than inciting further violence.

Believers won't tell you these things. They'll just convert turning the other cheek to forgiving because the meaning of the words is bad advice, and has to be modified to something that isn't.
