Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that God caused this strife. I'm saying that prophecy is like a newspaper from the future. It just reports the facts; it doesn't cause it.

There is free will.
God has the power to see into the future. But that doesn't mean he is pulling the strings. Our destines are in our hands; its just that God knows where we will end up.

Supposing i have an "Early edition" newspaper (the bible), and it reports of the Titanic sinking tragedy. You can be sure that i won't be getting aboard that ship!

Many will read the same paper and denounce it as a hoax.
Only time will tell, eh?
