Ok I'm back. Now if these Islamic countries are being led by tyrants forcing secularism in defiance of their people as you claim then this only strengthens my point. What they want is the establishment of the complete Islamic system not a secular one. Eventually they may well get it.

But I'm not concerned with these countries and what systems of government they set for themselves. That's their business. What concerns me is the establishment of Sharia Law in the UK and the cries for Sharia Law in other Western societies.

That, I will certainly admit, but I tend to see people who claim to be something as what they claim to be. If Iran claims to be an Islamic state, then I will call it an Islamic state. If China claims to be a People's Republic, I'll call it a People's Republic. I'll even call North Korea, the "Democratic" "People's" "Republic" of "Korea" even though the name by itself has three and a half lies.

I ask this, because I was thinking about this very thing the other day and wondered what would happen if non-Muslims withdrew their support from these regimes, all in one fell swoop.

What puzzles me about the outcome of such an act is that most Muslim countries do not allow for very effective opposition parties and political vacuums would likely result. It is extremely difficult to imagine what would take their places. Do you have any thoughts on this, Maro?

I toatally agree with you,if they want Sharia Law then it would be better if they stayed in their own countries,if you emigrate to a country you have to accept the host countrys Civil Law.
I have little empathy for people who will not integrate or even attempt to,and a good example is the Muslim teacher at a state school who was fired because the school children could not understand her because of her Niqab.
This caused an outcry from Muslims of how unfair it was to her and a breach of her rights but quite rightly she was fired,again if you want to teach in this country you must conform to the rules,if you prefer to live live a Medaeval person the best place for that is Iran or Saudi,indeed there are even police to make sure you dress this way.
I agree that if any criticism is levelled at Islam it is called Islamophobia,however many Muslims on this forum are anti Zionists yet they feel this is justified so some double standards there perhaps this is Zionophobia.

Definitely agree. I would love to see the Islamic face coverings banned outright everywhere but especially at a school. There is a clear religious message being sent to the students by Muslim women who cover their faces. This is soft jihad. Teaching non-Muslim children Islam in a public school. This violates our separation of Church and State. It happened were I live as well but the Muslim women wasn't allowed to teach. Good! Common sense won out.

'Islamophobia' doesn't exist. I challenge anyone to show me this Islamophobia spoken of by Muslims and apologists for Islam.

I think we can all agree that Powell was wrong on race (he found the Race Relations Act 1968 offensive because it prohibited discrimination on the grounds of race) but imo he wasn't wrong on immigration. By allowing an ideology clearly in opposition to the West's notion of freedom and it's laws (islam demands it's own law apart from it's host country's law) and has stated goals of domination The Ultimate Goal of Islam: World Domination is inviting disaster.

When i was at school i was very political and i saw him a couple of times,he toured the country and i bunked school to go and see him,outside was a very violent fight between Muslims and Sikhs,some even had swords,crazy stuff.
I did'nt agree with everything he said but on Immigration he was right which can be seen in all the ethnic communities all over Britain

Speaking out against the goal of Islam which desires to dominate all other religions is not hate speech nor is it a phobia. It is common sense. The preservation of all we've developed and all we cherish is vital imo. If we were discussing American imperialism there would be far less dissent.
