Then you weren't listening to what the pastors and priests actually say.
At every single mass, there are a minimum of two scripture readings from the Bible (three on weekends), not including brief readings from the Psalms, and then the homily (sermon) MUST reflect the readings from the Gospel and at least one of the other readings. This is part of Canon Law, thus the priest has no option but to do this.
Are you perfect? If you're not, then shame on you according to your own words above. Pastors and priests are not perfect either.
Thus, please stop lying (see the part of your post I underlined) as it puts into question other things you might say.
Oh I beg your pardon, if I came off as sounding arrogant within my statement that you underlined.
I have always been an analytical thinker, that listens intently, and asks many questions when I am finding no logic…. Such as, at the age of 10 when I asked my Nanny’s preacher,( where I received my Baptist upbringing), ‘why did you say, that drinking and dancing were sinful, and yet Jesus turned water into wine at a wedding, (where I already knew that dancing does take place at such events). And why is it okay for the deacon of your church to own a liquor store? All I got was a pat on the head with a smile, and a “out of the mouths of babes” brush off, while their plate got passed around, under the noses of their pew sitters for more money.
Thanks to my mixed family upbringing, I spent much time with multiple family and friends attending their different protestant religious faiths, within the ranges that I mentioned before, ALL of them taught that if you’re good you go heaven, and if you’re bad you go to hell. By the time I reached the age of 12, I had already attended 4 funerals, where each individual was preached right on up into heaven ‘to be with the Lord’. YET, at that prime age of 12, I listened to that Assembly of God preacher, preach, (who I personally knew was a beastly man that regularly beat,
to the point of broken bones, his wife
and his children), right on up into heaven to be with the Lord, and those 4 other good, and decent folks that I once knew. You can certainly bet your bloomers, that I asked that preacher MANY QUESTIONS, for which he had no logical answers to give, and he showed me NOTHING logical from God’s word.
My mother, my father, and my catholic step-mother, followed the disgraceful pope’s lead in causing me, as a 1year old infant, to be made into an
illegitmate child, by having my mother and father’s marriage
annulled. I have personally spoke to 3 different catholic priests that CANNOT logically explain this despicable behavior, of placing such a negative mark on innocent children, (YES, WORDS HAVE MEANING).
I learned from questioning the many different pastors, preachers, and priests, that most all of the protestants follow the catholics lead, when it comes to the unscriptual trinity doctrine,
because they’ve been told, that they must accept such nonsensical mumbo jumbo, in order to make it to heaven to be with the Lord. Jesus did say, ‘let the children come to me’,,,, So Honestly,,,,If you cannot explain something so that even a child can confidently understand it, then anyone of sincere and logical mind, should know that they are truly missing some necessary puzzle pieces.
And oh my goodness, the ‘purgatory’, and all the money, that I’ve personally seen my blindly trusting step-mother, and the rest of her family pay to the catholic church, to get their loved ones out of such a dark and insane place. I mean SERIOUSLY, what could their deceast possibly have done, to deserve going to such a horrible place, while that beastly man got preached right up into heaven???????????
At the age of 13, my Nanny, who was my closest friend passed away. Her preacher assured me that ‘she was in a much better place, and at peace with the Lord, and that she is now watching over me’. That made absolutely no sense to me, since I knew that she loved me more than my own mother. I mean really, HOW, can she possibly be at peace, watching over me while my whole world, and my heart is completely shattered with her being taken away from me???? AGAIN, NO LOGIC !
Without my Nanny’s love and guidance, I ended up pregnant at the age of 16. I gave birth to, and held that precious babygirl in my arms until, SUPPOSEDLY, ‘God needed another angel to be in Heaven, and so He took my 3 week old babygirl to be in heaven with Him’,,,,…. ‘It’s just so hard for us to grasp the reasons for the things that God does, but we must maintain our faith in Him, that He knows what is best’
So what was I thinking about God at this point????? YEAH, SURE, OKAY, IF GOD IS SUCH A MONSTER, THAT HE GIVES US PEOPLE TO LOVE, INCLUDING INNOCENT BABIES, ONLY TO TAKE THEM BACK,,,,,,,, THEN I’M DONE WITH YOUR SO CALLED GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At the age of 26, I had this beautiful little 6 year old daughter, that asked me the most basic and innocent question,, ‘Mama, is Nancy,(her deceased sister), in heaven?’…… All that I could honestly tell her, was what I had always been told, however I did not know how and where in the bible to prove such a belief, since no pastor, preacher, or priest had ever been capable of such biblical proof.
Interestingly enough, I got that knock on my door the very next day, and FINALLY, I was shown God’s word “Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might
break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil” Heb.2:14…………… Now if you, or anyone else cannot see this scripture as the complete opposite, of what I had been told during my upbringing, concerning death, then you are truly the sort, as to why honest hearted humans were warned at Matt.7 and 2 Thess.2:3,9-12, as well as elsewhere about your sort.
