Yet again, I wasn't defending the printing of the story, I was only challenging your interpretation of it. As far as I'm concerned, the only valid things printed in the Sun are the date and the weather but you said they were supporting domestic abuse and that remains entirely false.

Im not sure which is more disturbing and disgusting. That he is so brazenly unashamed of his domestic abuse or that such a thing is fuel of celebrity obsessions and is very profitable.

I just do not understand the lack of self-awareness of so-called 'biological feminists' (read TERFs) going 'well actually being a woman is about your vagina, and we need to check everyone's dangly bits before deciding where they should be allowed to go.'

I read an interesting essay recently (not sure I could find the link) by a self-described butch cis lesbian on this issue. She described the many times she's been mistaken for a man when entering a woman's washroom and been screamed at or forced to leave by people who most definitely did not bother to determine whether she had a vagina (which would have been wildly inappropriate and intrusive if they had, but regardless).

She argued - and I'm inclined to agree - that TERFs aren't just about wanting trans people to have a gender expression that "matches" their biological sex (though she also points out the problems with talking about "biological sex" as if it's a single thing), but also all sorts of other LGBTQ erasure.

... as evidenced by all the criticism she's received from TERFs about her appearance and behaviour even though she identifies as a woman and has a uterus and vagina.

An extremely funny, and very misanthropic, comedian who gives no ****s, ****s, or damns if people get upset over a joke (he isn't as bad or "punching down" as many claim or think). He's also a strong animal rights advocate, outspoken atheist, and his joke about Caitlyn Jenner was not transphobic (actually, to the contrary, her killing someone while driving and the stereotypes of women being bad drivers was the target of the joke, it had absolutely nothing to do with her being trans).

Given her previous issues with tweets a lot of people have concluded that she is a TERF. I don't think she has specific malice against trans people but it also seems rather evident she doesn't see their gender identity as valid. Her previous tweet where she defended that woman whose name escapes me was pretty bad. Either she truly just didn't know what she was talking about or it was prime TERF material.

I'm still a ravenclaw and I'm still gonna like Harry Potter. Doesn't meant that I fully respect the author anymore though.

She has an obscene amount of money, though she got none of it from me and she probably has too much time on her hands.

For all her wealth, she only has one vote like the rest of us. That is somewhat of a leveller for these celebs that Ricky likes having a go at.

If others are allowed a voice, I don’t see why she should be silenced.
