Try - kindness philosophy - plus suggested searches?

For example -

Usually when we think of an education, we think of it as the accumulation of information. While information plays an important role, a Confucian education is more a process of self-cultivation. Specifically, it is a process of becoming intelligently kind.

Like liberal education, Confucian education is not directed toward any particular form of employment. But as with a liberal education, one could use almost any form of employment to act kindly. Though he also sees kindness as an end in itself, Confucius also thinks that people who approach the task this way will ultimately be the most effective.

What does it mean to be “intelligently kind”? People can be kind without being intelligent and intelligent without being kind. Success for Confucius was learning to be both at the same time. Obviously by “kindness” here we mean something more than just being nice all the time since sometimes you have to be if not cruel to be kind, at least sanguine.

Why not include the entire Earth in the field of loving-kindness? Why not embrace the very earth that is our home? That is an organism in its own right, that is in a sense one body, a body that can be thrown off balance by her own actions, conscious and unconscious, in ways that create huge threats to the life it nurtures and to the intelligences embedded within all aspects of that life, animal and plant and mineral that interacts so seamlessly in the natural world. And so we can expand the field of the loving heart even further the field of our loving kindness.

Kindness is the best way to communicate -

Kindness is irreplaceable. However successful or huge a brand we become, it is important to keep kindness in our heart. This is the only way in which we will be able to show up as a good person, filled with love and good wishes for others.

Even if a person acts rudely with you, bringing out your kindness towards them and making sure you don’t react similar to them, makes a lot of difference.

Remember a person who is rude is basically hurt and that is why they are being rude or acting weird. You can transform their aura by being amazingly kind towards them.

We're big fans of Random Acts of Christmas Kindness. Ever since we started this tradition a few years back, I just can't get enough of it. The only problem is, I'm not one that likes to do the same thing year after year.

Last year our random acts of kindness were focused on neighbors, community helpers, etc. This year our Random Acts of Christmas Kindness are family focused. I'm hoping this will help a lot of "fun" behaviors that have developed in our household as of late. It's also a great way to remind ourselves how much we love our extended family members, and take the time to show them.

With a simple kindness, you reveal the heart of God to one in need of believing in something good. With a simple loving word, you allow Divine love to flow through you. With a simple prayer dear ones, you allow the Divine to reach someone through your human presence, who might otherwise not be open to connecting directly. With every simple kind and loving act, you become the hands, the eyes, the mouth, and the heart of God in this world of form.
