What I did not know about the Prisoner (1967-1968) a few minutes ago, is that it appears to be a continuation (based on the characters name - Drake) of two other TV programs that Patrick McGoohan was in. Danger Man (1960-1961) and Secret Agent. (1964-1967)

What I did not know about the Prisoner (1967-1968) a few minutes ago, is that it appears to be a continuation (based on the characters name - Drake) of two other TV programs that Patrick McGoohan was in. Danger Man (1960-1961) and Secret Agent. (1964-1967)
I used to love debating whether the story was focused on psychology (we are prisoners of our own nature) or politics (we are prisoners of societies strictures) or both.

I was a kid at the time and knew nothing of the debate, I just though the show was cool, and I did not think about it any other way until I saw it in reruns much later, when I was in High School
