With, I think, as many as 7 volcanos under the Antarctic ice, as the Ice recedes the crust rebounds, and the crust rebounds volcanos can become active, as volcanos become active 1.5 million penguins get roasted
Unlike those lethargic bears, penguins are highly mobile.

Which is why the HIGHLY intelligent bears (heck even a Polar is a genius compared to a penguin) bears don't live there....and as mobile as the somewhat dull penguin may be....I don't think they exceed speeds of 430mph and I don't think they do well in temperatures that can be as high as 1800 degrees Fahrenheit.

I believe the volcanos of Antarctica are of the type that erupt with a pyroclastic flow.....A pyroclastic flow (also known as a pyroclastic density current or a pyroclastic cloud) is a fast-moving current of hot gas and volcanic matter (collectively known as tephra) that moves away from a volcano reaching speeds of up to 700 km/h (430 mph). The gases can reach temperatures of about 1,000 °C (1,830 °F).

So...bye bye flightless tuxedoed birds..... hey, at least they were snappy dressers.....

I think it's a crime to introduce facts, especially scientific facts, especially about climate change, in this thread.
