Lets consider something for a minute. Star Trek started in 1963. That's 55 years ago. Next Gen started 1987 -- 21 years ago. Since then there have been series called Enterprise, Voyager, Deep Space 9, STD, and some unofficial ones. Despite all of this some people still do not like Star Trek.
